We have stayed at Legacy Ottoman for 7 days in March 2018 with my mother, and we had a great experience. We were warmly greeted and upgraded to a superior room (we have booked standard room with indoor-facing windows), so that was very pleasant and unexpected. The room was spacious with all necessary amenities and very tall ceilings - I really enjoyed it. Some people here were complaining about the toilets, but in our room the toilet, shower and sink were modern (new?), clean and without any unpleasant smells. The hotel provided two water bottles daily, which was very convenient. As for breakfast, it was on the top floor of the hotel with seriously amazing views of the Bosphorus and Golden Horn from one side and Hagia Sophia - from the other side. This view was one of the most impressive in the whole city, especially if you grab the table near the windows. The food at breakfast was okay, a lot of vegetables, cheeses and olives, some hot dishes, as well as tasty soups. The drinks left a bit to be desired: the tea wasn't the best, and the coffee was bland. The staff were friendly, but sometimes struggled to clean the tables in a timely manner. The location of the hotel is seriously one of the best in entire Istanbul: you have the Sehir Hatlari ferries in 3 minutes by foot, the tram (to go to Taksim, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and the airport) in 1-2 minutes by foot. A lot of great inexpensive restaurants are also nearby (explore the "cheap eats" section on TripAdvisor), as well as the always delicious Hafiz Mustafa 1864 confectionery and cafe. The building of the hotel is very grand and beautiful, and the reception area is stunning. The staff of the hotel were friendly, and all.yhe requests were promptly dealt with. I also must say that the guest relations lady with red hair was very professional and asked guests about their opinion quite frequently. If I have to point out some flaws, it would be that the cleaning of the hotel, including the rooms, was not as thorough as I expected, with some rubbish here and there, but nothing serious. Considering I paid very good price for this hotel (it was three times cheaper than something like Intercontinental at the time of my booking) and I got an upgrade with a location and amazing Bosphorus views during breakfast, I cannot complain and will most certainly try and stay here again. Thank you.
Nothing special to say hotel is situated in best place Nice hotel with clean rooms only friendly and helpful staff was missing expect one Portier boy Mohamad or by checking out a lady with Trip Advisor card that was the only smile what we observe luckily 😀At the breakfast buffet minimum we could not found any helpful staff .This Hotel as it is deserve a lot
