The hotel provides excellent customer service, the rooms are always clean and I like the security it provides. I felt safe knowing not anybody can go into hotel. The best thing about Legacy Ottoman Hotel is that is located within walking distance around most places of interest including the famous bazar.
Our experience was good, except when we first checked in there were no small towels or bath mat in the washroom & we had to call 2 times & still wait quite some time before they were brought to our rooom.
Nice hotel, every time when I come to Istanbul, I stay here. Friendly staff, clean and big rooms, good breakfast, close to Spice Bazar and Sultanahmad. For sure you’ Like it.
The hotel lobby is very impressive, while the amenities in the room other than the bathroom are old and worn out, and the room itself has an unbearable odor. The staff at the front desk and in the lobby are very helpful. But the staff including the supervisor and manager at the restaurant could use a lilltle smile on their faces. For example, for two mornings when I went for my breakfast, I had to greet the supervisor and manager loudly with " goog morning " , then I got a response from them. No wonder no one single server at breakfast seems to know how to say " good morning. What a pity ?
excellent location and beautiful lobby. room is too small and lighting is too dim. hallway lighting is also not bright enough. don't think it is a five star hotel.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable. Room was pretty clean, but not spotless. Service was pretty good and the staff was helpful. Really nice breakfast that's a super good deal. Location is in a safe spot and within walking instance to all of the major sites. Would recommend for those staying within the old city.
