Location is ok BUT it doesn’t save the situation with the noise and service! Smile? No smile from the guys in the reception. Smell in the room - disgusting (smoke comes from downstairs!!) Noise from the restaurant (and stops around 2-3am!!! - loud music!!) noise from the street + neighbors!! Breakfast is not about 4stars hotel! We changed the hotel and didn’t get money back... If you want to have a relaxing weekend - do not stay in this hotel!
Ideal location for main places to visit. Nearby metro and tram station & many cafes & restaurants. The hotel is rated 4.5 stars but the service , facilities and cleanliness is more than 5 stars. Very very clean hotel and very modern rooms & bathrooms. All the staff very helpful indeed. Clean corridors, lifts and restaurants. One of the staff Esra who spoke very good English was helping us how to and where to find the best places to visit. Also pianist playing the piano at breakfast time gave us a good feeling for start of the day everyday. All the waiters really attentive to guests (very important). We will always use this hotel every time we visit Istanbul. We both recommend and rate this hotel 5 stars. Having travelled many countries we highly recommend this hotel.
Located in noisy zone of Laleli district the hotel has dirty rooms, no parking, the desk staff of course not friendly.Overall low standard even it is classified as 4 star hotel. I had the bad luck to stay in this hotel at the beginning of September but for sure I will not recommend for my friends.
Hi people,if you read my comment please listen to me. the hotel is a disaster. the rooms bathrooms are dirty. the food is very bad. the personel are terrible. they do not give you any information they do not help you at all you call them many times for something they do not answer you. I have traveled to Istanbul several times this damn hotel has been the most bad experience I have ever had. I as a foreign tourist just like you I recommend that you do not go to this hotel ever. they force you to stay at hotel they take the money on the first day without giving you any information then no one talks to you they do not give you the money and they force you to stay there because the price is very high and the hotel is a crappy people. From my experience I recommend 1. Walton hotels sultan ahmer. 2 walton hotels 3 Neorion hotel. the three hotels are good clean and with very friendly people they make you feel good just like in your own house. Nadia.
My husband and i recently stayed for 4 nights in August and had a wonderful stay! Our room was extremely spacious and clean! The bathroom was exceptional. The hotel is located in a great spot- walking distance to the Grand Bazaar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the only downside. It's very simple and boring.
The hotel is very close to a metro station and has a lot of restaurants and bars surrounding the hotel. It even has it's own night club. It located approximately a 20 minute walk from the Blue Mosque or a 5 minute tram ride. Good breakfast served in the mornings.
We went last year for 10 days.Nice rooms, but breakfast awful. We booked because of pool but it was too cold water. Ok but I am not so much satisfied. You can find better place for little money. The breakfast is so poor and there is staff like soldier infront of restorant watching that you dont take breakfast food outside 😱 hotel good but some things like bad breakfast, freezing pool,"soldier" infront breakfast restorant, gives this hotel lower level.
The location is really nice, not too far from the flea market and the metro station. The room was very good and clean. The breakfast is adequate, great variety but not too good in quality. +you pay for the fresh juice. The spa was a a great experience but take only the discount packet, otherwise try only the Turkish hamam. The water in the bar is very expensive so buy from a convenient store. The restaurant on the other hand is a great option for money value and good food.
I stayed at the hotel at the end of may and it was great. Check in went smooth and the receptionist explained everything clearly. Rooms are good, location is excellent. The only poor thing is the breakfast, it suites more a 2 star hotel. In general its a good and pleasant stay
Our experience with this hotel was very bad even considering the amount we paid. We booked it via bookings.com. Check in was smooth but what followed afterwards was so bad. Here is a summary, 1. There was this weird smell in room and lobby cigarette or something. And I thought maybe next day after room service it would go away but no. 2. The staff or reception just gave us the keys to room. Didn't tell us anything about pool, timings etc. I mean every hotel we stayed in turkey (cheaper then Zurich) had the curtesy to atleast show us around. 3. When we checked out the receptionist asked us to wait so that they can do final check of room (understandable every hotel does that). The person came back and said ok sir 2 water bottles 2 vodka and some more stuff from Mini bar pay for it. Since we didn't use the minibar at all, we didn't even open it. My husband said there must be some misunderstanding with room no. He said no. My husband said ok show me. He went with the guy to the room and found out all the bottles were lying on the bed with only the seal opened. Yes they were full of water vodka etc so nobody drank them. My husband took a picture and came down and told receptionist again that we didn't, we didn't even take them out of mini fridge. He said no u have to pay. He told them that we didn't even open the two complementary water bottles cause we never used them. Then we got upset and asked them to check their security cameras, or ask house keeping and find out who has been going to our room. Lastly we said ok call the police because we are not paying for a service or product we didn't consume. And that's when the receptionist said ok please go. 4. Till day two we weren't sure if pool is free to use or we have to pay. The loud music of disco. So please be aware, we stayed in the hotel at the start of our vacation and I would not recommend them at all. And I waited to come back to give review because I wanted to see how other hotels treat us so that I have a bench mark.
