We stayed in this hotel in August for 5 days(with my son and my husband) The restaurant's view was great Of course, if you wake up earlier you could have a chance to use the beautiful scenery he breakfast was average, not a lot of variety, we stayed for 5 nights and they served the same food every day but that ok The staffing was great. reception are just great (except a woman.she was not very pleased and when I asked about my postage she told me there isn't. I saw my envelope but she said me there wast. The behavior of the man was excellent, but the lady's response was not completely good The lobby was small(It's better to change the hotel lobby design), but the rooms were large and very clean.the bath room was clean too and very good) the location is great with a gorgeous view and very near to metro station.
Modern hotel with a very good location near Istiklal street where you can find a lot of shops, restaurants and pubs. The room of the hotel was nice, we booked the business class room with sea view. The breakfast was average, not a lot of variety, we stayed for 5 nights and they served the same food evefy day.The towels are old and sometimes they may put towels with spots left.I can say that it doesn't meet the same level of Radisson Blu chain as in other countries such as in UAE, Oman and Lebanon but it was not bad.The service was not so good, they don't offer taking your luggage to the room when you arrive, the staff don' t smile and are not warm (it is the case everywhere as I saw).
It’s a nice hotel, but by no means it’s central located. I’m not really sure what the other reviewers consider centre, but this hotel is a good distance away from all the major attractions. You will need to take taxi or metro to get to Grand Bazaar or Hagia Sophia. Breakfast has very good selection and even a picky eater will find something, they have omelette bar, good selection of cheese and fruit. Hotel has free wifi. If you are light sleeper, request room with no “ city view “, I had to change my room because it was on first floor facing street and right next to the elevator, the front desk was very accommodating and I got room on top floor with almost no noise. Unfortunately the pool facilities were closed during my stay, so can’t comment on that.
rooms are really nice and clean, however there is a lot of noise during the night and the finish of the room is not perfect, it's a pity but the attention to details is important. Service and reception are very nice, location is nearby the centre and there is a beatiful view from the rooftop restaurant
Our trip in Istanbul was fantastic except for the hotel. We were 7 people and we had problems en each room. The maintenance of this hotel is very poor. firstly, in one room (my parent's room) the lights were not possible to switch off and the solution of the reception was unplug them for all of our stay. Then, in my room, one morning we woke up and half room was flooded! Our bags were completely wet and now the solution of the reception was change the room (in a impolite way), but it was an smaller room! And finally the third room one night (at 2AM) the light switched on alone! then the jacuzzi in the spa didn't work... the only positive points are the restaurant that was very good and the location.
I'm staying at Radisson blu Pera, on the first day when we entered the hotel the reception was very dusty and seemed cramped. Then when we went to our room it followed the same theme it was dusty and unclean my husband even got an allergic reaction because of the dirt. Our room is supposed to be a business room which has business lounge access and breakfast included. However this is the worst business lounge i have ever seen! You get a choice of hot drinks such as coke, fanta, sprite, every time I've been to the lounge there is no waiter, hardly any snacks there isn't even any proper food so forget about variety. Getting the business lounge is a complete ripoff here! Now moving onto our bedroom which is a so called business room, the room furniture is very very old and dusty, the cleaner doesn't clean the room properly at all! There is a smoke smell in the room even after you open the window or spray the room it comes back, the power socket comes off the wall whenever you take out the charger! The air conditioning is so old that it only works sometimes. Next we have the pool access. The pool area smells awful, the water is cold and we are in the winter season. The pool has dirty water so does the Jacuzzi tub that doesn't really work. There seems to be a theme of lack of cleanliness at this hotel. The changing room smells so bad my husband was going to be sick from the smell of BO. I would highly recommend to AVOID this hotel at all cost! Unless you want to have a terrible time! This is definitely not a 5 star hotel only the price is, i'll be surprised if it is even a 2 star hotel.
Nice hotel centrally located directly adjacent to Taksim. Rooms were small. Floor in rooms could use a little work. Room wasn't super clean. Staff was adequate. Best feature about the hotel was the location.
The hotel is in a nice location and the staff was very nice but thr room we had was very small and the bathroom floor was not clean. I am not sure if this was a low price room because it was part of a tour.
We were at this hotel 31 Oct - 05 Nov, we were all together 4 adults + 2 children in rooms 528 and 618. Practically we liked everything in hotel, rooms are great and quite even though located on street side ( i stay in 618 was unbelievable quite ) very clean, very kneat and has no smell at all. Room service, cleaning service, resption are just great. Gym/spa are good but swimming pool water was cold and no one we saw including us was able to swim though Hammam, jaccuzi and steamroom were great. Every one in hotel saved no effort to help us especially Mr Alper who personnaly assisted us in everything. Hotel location is nice but you have to walk 5-10 minutes to be in center of everything ( that is ok for us but maybe not suitable for very old or handicap pple) . Breakfast though not a big choice but every thing was tasty and quality, however busness snack was nothing except 3 types of cookies and tea/coffee and that was not a little choice only but no choice at all ( this is not a major issue but hotel has to look at it seriously) . Lobby, reception, restaurant and coffee are not so big but very comfortable and cozy. For those who really stay only in 5 star hotels worldwide and used to very fancy huge 5* hotels, this is not that one because it is not pricy and Istanbul space very expensive even though i am used to real 5* hotels, i come to terms to accept this small size hotel due to reasons i mentioned. Note that this hotel has no Kids club, toys corner and likewise so specially if you have small children no place for them to play. any negative point i mentioned is very minor and does not affect an overall view of the hotel and hope management could see to it. My choice of this hotel was successful so hopefully will be yours
Nice small hotel over looking the golden horn. Clean rooms and spacious. The back rooms over look a construction site not so nice. I had to move my room and upgrade myself to move away from that view to golden horn view. They have nice Turkish restaurant on the roof also reasonably price. The hotel is 5 min walk from istiklal street and 15 min to taksim square
