Disgraceful

My 2 friends and I were taken to the hotel by taxi, and we were greeted by a sign on the front door stating that the hotel had been shut down by the local authority due to lack of fire precautions. I have messaged the hotel twice, and hotels.com, and no one has considered refunding my 100% upfront payment. Disgraceful behaviour.

Perfectly fine place but out of the way. There is no lift at the property. Slept well. Stairs need a deep clean.

A really nice stay

The room was small, but it was comfortable, items were refreshed daily and the service was excellent. A special shout out for the Manager himself, who was very helpful throughout, particularly at the end of our stay when the taxi booked to the airport did not turn up, as they had forgotten about the booking. He made the necessary calls, and arranged a car within 5 minutes. Great location and view of the bridge from nearby.

Good value hotel, nice staff

The hotel owner was very helpful with special requests: they let us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout, and they called us taxis every time. The breakfast was okay and they have a coffee / lemonade machine that is always available. The room was clean and the bathroom was new. The hotel is close to a lot of attractions, although, it is an uphill walk from Ortaköy.
