The receptionist uncle's speaking style is rude, not solution-oriented, but rather focused on creating problems. You are likely to give up until you explain the issue. Sheets are dirty, towels are dirty and stained. I only saw 4 insects in the bathroom.

Worst experience ever

This place is by far the worst place i have ever slept in my whole life Old building, terrible appliances, no body speaks english, next to the main street so you will probably wake up at 4 am with vehicles honking their horns, i even asked for a cup once and they said we don't have(i'm not sure they even understood what i said) Only good thing about it is that taksim square is pretty near I booked this place for 5 days and requested refund after the first night Although they did not return a percentage of the money i still preferred to leave

This is as basic as it comes but for the price you get what you pay for. Not great for English speakers but again, fair for the cost. The food just outside is great and cheap and it’s in the thick of the nightlife.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The hotel is the worst I’ve ever seen in terms of cleanliness and staff friendliness. Checking in was no problem and the man who was there initially was helpful. We had 2 rooms booked, 1 single room and 1 double room. When we came back to the hotel after going out for dinner we were greeted by a really rude man and told that he had cancelled one of our room bookings. After arguing with him for 20 minutes I was told if myself and my boyfriend did not leave he would call the police. This left us with nowhere to stay in the middle of Istanbul at 11pm on a Friday night. Luckily we found another hotel but I was very uneasy about leaving my friend there on her own. She called me at 7am the next morning to tell me she got up to go outside for a cigarette during the night and the man on reception had her crying after shouting at her and telling her she was not welcome to leave her room in the middle of the night. I don’t understand how this hotel is on Hotels.com and really think if anyone from the site had visited the hotel it would be taken off as it is not a safe place. I would also like to add that when on the 7th or 8th floor you can feel the building shake under your feet.

I wouldn't stay in this hotel for free, let alone paying money. Bed bugs and Cockroach problem. I informed the management and they pesticide the room (allegedly), but obviously it continued. The problem is, management thinks changing bed cloth is good enough to keep a place clean.
