Booked one night on our way back up the Keys but should have been longer. What a fab place. Staff very welcoming, really clean rooms with modern styling.Right on the waters edge. My kids made great use of the complimentary kayaks and snorkel masks. A great motel in an excellent location!

An excellent room and great value for money. Spacious suite for two with fridge and coffee making facilities. Good Wi-Fi. Good location. The best thing however was the free bicycles which saved us a seventy dollar hire fee and the free paddle boards and kayaks! Mangrove Mikes just next door is amazing for breakfast. We saw nurse sharks , tarpon and many parrot fish in the sea when snorkelling ... beautiful beach area too

This resort is just amazing! The location is excellent and the views are absolutely spectacular. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and really looked after us. Sitting in a hammock watching a beautiful sunset made this an unforgettable place to stay. The area is a very private and quiet place to relax, kids loved taking advantage of the free paddle boards, kayaks and snorkelling equipment available. We didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back.

What a great place, nestled in a lovely little bay right in the heart of Islamorada, resort is beautifully kept with all the facilities you need ! Family, couples, groups will all enjoy this absolutely beautiful spot ! All the staff here couldn’t do enough for me and my family, my two kids aged 11 &14 loved fishing from the shore, snorkelling and Kayaking in the beautifully warm water, We even had nightly visits from two Manatees Plenty of places to get out and see from here, would recommend one million percent Awesome 👏🏼

The hotel has a personal charm and a great location on the island. Good service. What I also appreciated was lying and relaxing in the hammock with a good book. As for the water toys, there was not as much as it had seemed like. I wanted to try the paddle board, but there was no paddle that worked and the kayaks was taken all the time. But with that said I can really recommend this place.

Really nice place to spend a night. Beautiful views of the Gulf with a piers to fish and swim from. We sat outside by the water a lot just to enjoy the sights. They had kayaks, fins / masks and fishing gear the we could use. Old Florida style outside, but the inside was updated. The bathroom was quite small, but functional. Room was warm, but cooler then outside. Easy walk to restaurants and shops if you don't feel like getting in the car.

Our room was recently renovated and very clean. The hotel is still working on renovating some of the rooms. bathroom had double sinks, marble countertop, nicely tiled shower. The quirky part was the 3 steps up from the room to the bathroom. Our room seemed warm, we called the office, they quickly cleaned the filter of the ductless mini split air conditioner and the temperature was perfect and the unit very quiet. (Rooms that were being renovated had new mini splits being installed) The kayaks and bikes are free; although some of the kayaks need to be patched/replaced, especially the blue Dolphin one. Sunsets sitting in the beachchairs were beautiful. It was so nice to have our own private "beach" area and very nice for those who brought their boats. Helen in the office was very helpful and we appreciated her suggestions for restaurants. We intend to go back.

Wow. We had low expectations, but were blown away by the view from our upper room at La Jolla. Yes, the beach is small. Yes, the whole vibe is kitsch. But it was very relaxing, well appointed, super clean, and felt like a home away from home. We went up and down the Keys over a week, and this is the place we'd definitely book again. My only complaints: 1. There is no outlet in the bathroom. There was a massive storage area there for all of our stuff, though. 2. The Wifi was useless indoors. Even more reason to get out and enjoy the scenery. Very nice staff from check in to check out. It was hard to leave! The kitchen saved us lots of money on dining out, too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Went there for my Birthday with another couple from Chicago. Now we have stayed there at least 4 times already and each time gets better. We were upgraded to the 3 bedroom house..This was absolute paradise OMG none of us cared about going out at night. When u see the stunning view it will leave u breathless! The house is very nice and roomy, the huge deck with a gas grill comfortable furniture is awesome. This is a place to go and really enjoy what life is all about. Also a great staff Thanks Again to the Staff Jim & Naomi

Went to Islamorada for a fishing trip and booked 2 nights at La Jolla Not sure who wrote all the glowing reviews, this place is a dump Room was dirty, one bed was ok the other bed was rock hard Overall the grounds we’re dilapidated Parked in the carport went to open tailgate hit my head on the drain pipes hanging below the ceiling that were painted the same color as the ceiling Stairs poorly lit at night Overall quite disappointing Checked out the next morning went to another motel that was a couple dollars less that was much more accommodating
