me and my friends stay for 6 day. from the room the view on the beach is magnificent! the only thing that could be improved is the bathrooms, for the rest is all good. I think if I come back I will rebook.
We stayed here in April - before the season really started (in fact we were the first guests of the season and the only people in the hotel). As a result, a few things werent quite on point but i am sure these will be sorted if you visit later in the year. Breakfast was ok - a little sparse but enough to start the day with. The rooms were basic - and a little tired, more suited to party-goers who will only want a place to crash at the end of the night. You need to take the bus or a taxi to get into the town centre or the port - as the walk is not for the faint hearted.
The whole experience was somewhat underwhelming. Looks can be deceiving and it looked fab! When we were checking in the receptionist was a little cold. We were a little early so we waited at the pool bar - the bar man was very friendly and professional. We then went to our room. Lots of steps - no offer to help with bags (although there was a free shuttle from the port). Room was standard enough. Aircon was very noisy. Another difficulty was taking the passport on arrival. There’s no reason for this - when questioned I got no reply! There’s free parking which is great. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Hairdryer is useless. The big problem was though on our second night our room was full of ants. On the floor, under the pillow and on the sheets. Now I must admit that we went to reception @ 12:30am and were moved straight away. Night porter was more than helpful. I wouldn’t be returning.
The hotel itself was nicely finished, clean & the staff in general friendly & helpful. The spa was good with a very good massage booked at short notice, and the food was of a good standard. This was my last stop on a Greek island hopping tour, and my least favourite, due to it being a ‘typical’ resort - which is a matter of personal preference - and geared for 18-30’s. It was the only hotel that kept my passport, and lacked an overall edge on service that the smaller boutique hotels had in other islands.
Had such a good time staying here and met so many people. Will definitely be coming back next year! Good value for money and not too far of a walk to the main beach in the area. Staff were also very helpful.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we wish we stayed longer! The view from our balcony was superb! The owners and staff were kind, knowledgeable and their recommendations on restaurants were superb! We will be bringing our entire family back next year and cannot wait! Thank you to all for your hospitality!
They have a lot going on at all times so there’s always something to do! The rooms are nice and have AC in them which is great for how warm it can get and there’s a ton of restaurants within walking distance, if you want to go into town the bus runs till midnight and it’s 1.80€ to take it w/ a ton of different stops. I enjoyed my time here! They also have a ton of beach activities you can chose to purchase which is great!
Very average 3* hotel. I've been to other 3* hotels that have been much better than this. The only positive thing to say is the view is great as you overlook the beach and the convenient free shuttle bus. We were pleasantly surprised to see a complimentary Far Out shuttle pick up service when we arrived at the port. They also dropped us back to the port when we checked out. Aside from this, the rooms are very basic. The bathroom (shower in particular) is horrendous. I'm quite short and petite and it was uncomfortable for me as it was so small. Can't imagine what it's like for those who are much taller than me. Reception staff aren't that friendly either but then again, if you had hoards of young contiki groups passing through all the time, I guess you wouldn't be too happy either.
Stayed here as part of a Contiki Tour, was a lovely place, our room was great, with a nice verandah and shutters to open the room up. Bathroom was a bit average and the shower didn't really work, but it was a good size compared to others in Greece I stayed at. Be aware, this is mainly a hotel used for youth tour groups, it didn't get overly rowdy that I saw, but when we arrived there would have been about a hundred people all checking in at once. I had a few treatments at the spa, the staff were really rude and popped out for a cigarette half way through my treatment, and came back smelling of smoke, so gross.
Far out were very accommodating with their shuttle bus to the beach club, and their pool has a beautiful view. However, the room was worse than most hostels. The shower was horrific, the bathroom tiny, and the beds were harder than concrete. Our friends stayed at far our beach club in a private double room, and considering we paid more than them for our room, their room was of a much higher standard than ours, in every way.
