Room was clean and had full kitchen (full size fridge, microwave, stovetop) and I was able to cook meals everyday. Despite other negative reviews online I found this hotel a great value and very clean and safe.
It was convenient and comfortable at a good price. It was Close to The Church of the Living God. Good food was nearby. The people were friendly. They even put some food in the cabinet. We took advantage of the coffee and muffins in the lobby. I enjoyed our stay there. Last year we were at Extended Stay on Waldemar for a whole week. I think the weekly rate was better. This year we only stayed three days. See you for next year's convention.
The. Breakfast was not enough for growing teenagers and there was't a pool to swim in. Our rooms were not cleaned during our stay as well. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The. Hotel was close to the venue.
We arrived and everyone was friendly, easy check in. Our rooms were very clean, and appropriate. We did not have any plastic or otherwise cups to get water to take meds of anything. Our room did not have a hair dryer and had to go down to desk to get one. The next morning, we went down for the breakfast, and they were out of 3 different coffees, and it was packaged muffins and breakfast bars. Ok, over all, just a few things that could have been better.
Got this hotel through Priceline "Name Your Own Price" on June 25, 2017. Woke up around 3 am by itchiness and found bed bug bites on my face and back. Complained to the hotel and Priceline and received full refund. But I would not want to go through the ordeal even someone pays me to. Stay away from this one!
Broken shower, toilet seat and dirty kitchenette. Not sure how this location maintains it's property, but follow upmon repairs seem to be poor. Front desk staff is friendly and strides to accommodate.
Front desk attendant was great. Check in was quick, even with explaining everything we needed to know. We were exhausted, so we were grateful for the speed of check-in. Hotel looked booked, but was very quiet.
The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was cozy, and had everything I wanted (kitchenette). We had a queen bed so it was cozy, the TV allowed us to hook in our DVD player. I was able to make mashed potatoes and homemade noodles and chicken. However someone got my frozen lemonade which I forgot!
The hotel looks to be relatively new and appears well maintained outside and in the main lobby area. The room I stayed also appeared to be clean when we first walked in. The beds were made, trash emptied, and bathroom towels folded. So upon closer inspection we found trash behind the nightstand, dust on the table surface, the shower had hair, dirt, and gel all over it, and the toilet was dirty. We couldn't tell if the sheets had been changed, but considering the state the rest of the room was in we assumed they weren't. The towels which were folded neatly were grayish in color but supposed to be white! It's as if the room was made to look clean but definitely was not! The only reason I giving this hotel 2 stars vs 1 is because the manager on duty actually cleaned our bathroom when I asked.
Stayed one night and was very satisfied with staff, room and amenities. Hotel location is excellent, close to restaurants, grocery stores, mall and just about anything else you might need. Three miles from the Hillcrest Country Club. Definitely would stay here again.
