Can not fault it, it was such a beautiful place despite going in the middle of August it never felt too busy, food was a bit hit & miss but if your not too fussy there’s plenty to choose from, everything was just lovely from the staff to the rooms, entertainment wasn’t the best I’ve seen but the kids absolutely loved it, would definitely go again given the chance
We loved it here! Loved the adult only areas but just as happy around the main pool too. Their little private beach is great. All inclusive was good...good range of food, drinks and cocktails (we were very impressed for the price we paid). The views across the bay from the hotel were stunning. A five minute walk into Portinatx so a great location overall. There were lots of steps/hills but we knew that before we went so it wasn't a surprise/problem for us at all. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a fantastic week her in mid October. Facilities were brilliant, lovely private cove & small beach, fantastic to use free kayaks, great snorkelling off the beach, v friendly staff, lots of room, & nice quiet areas. Lovely sea views everything & v pretty place. Great choice if food at every meal, really lovely rooms well kitted out & great bathrooms. Much higher than 3 stars, more like 4. Would visit again, highly recommend. Lots of steps & different levels do not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Just got back from an amazing 7 day holiday. Memory foam beds and power showers. Sky bar was just above our room so great place to chill and watch a member of the fit and fun team playing football and volleyball with his top off!! namely Khristoph staff very friendly and helpful but service a but slow sometimes . The views were spectacular.
This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. Very Modern, sleek, full of activities, and staff who despite working all season, and it would appear all day and night! gave us a fresh and fun week packed with activities. I enjoyed Zumba, my daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the paddle boarding, Eve played darts, did rifle shooting, got on the stage, but I didn't have enough hours in my week to do all the activities. I'd have loved to try the mountain biking, At night they put on a great show for the children and then for the adults. Splendid guys Splendid There were 6 in the animation team and they put on a great show. Will be back. Definitely. And hope they will be too. Maybe the reception could have a receptionist for new arrivals and one for residents. Maybe speed up the process. But thats nothing. Happy end of season to all the staff
Overall good hotel, well decorated, bedroom and bathroom very nice and clean but... : Need a car as isolated. Not all rooms have a view. Catering is average, not really local, breakfast is nice. Note that the restaurant is exclusively indoor :-(. The bar and terrace are nice and with a view on the beach! Lunch buffet/snack at lunchtime (very basic) can be taken there. Swimming pool is very small and people (although not authorised) reserve their sun beds very early. The "adults only pool" is even smaller. The hotel beach is not really a beach but still allow for a swim and access to the sea. What made it a great holiday: a short drive away you can access really beautiful beaches and places!
Just back from this beautiful resort and had an amazing time. Room was clean and had a great balcony area, only downfall was how small for a double room and no bath which proved tricky with a baby. Good shower! Pool area gorgeous, we had no issues with sun loungers as is constantly stated in these reviews. Perhaps due to going in off peak time though. The private beach is also gorgeous although be prepared to walk hills and steps! A 10-15 min steep walk is well worth it to the beach in portinatx town which is stunning! Food and drink were great, staff were also great! Over all fab holiday not much to complain about and very child friendly. Hoping to return next year!
Just home from a great 7 nights, half board. The good points - nice, quiet, modern hotel in a picturesque location. Plenty of areas to soak up the sun. The cliff bar is stunning. A short walk takes you into the lowly fishing village of Portinaxt which has 2 beaches & several chilled out bars where you can enjoy the sunset & food. Would recommend the hotel for couples & families with older children. Rooms were clean & fresh with rainfall showers & a nice small balcony. There are a lot of steps so be ready to get a good thigh workout! Entertainment every night but we weren't there for that others seemed to be enjoying it. The only let down for us was the food. Breakfast was passable (plenty of cold meats, cheeses & some cooked items). Dinner was disappointing. Pretty much the same fare every night. The cooked food bit bland & boring. Tasty sweets & again you could have a good pick at the cold meats & cheeses! Staff very friendly & attentive across the hotel. Didn't spoil our holiday though we just ate out I few nights more than we would have. We will definitely retun but only on a B&B basis.
After reading some older reviews about staff I was a little worried about this hotel but I must say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I would normally go away 4 to 6 times a year all over the world and we are thinking about returning for a short break next year..
As per other reviews if you have a pram or have difficulty walking, this hotel is not for you. There are steps everywhere. Accommodation was pretty good, a little cramped but very clean and an excellent shower. Disappointed no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Despite notices informing that sun beds could not be reserved, die hards were up at dawn and reserving beds mostly south facing, take note ! Food was varied and to most tastes. We usually ate lunch in the restaurant, not caring for cold chips and burgers round the pool. Bit of a trek downhill to the beach and around the bay. Although we were all inclusive, we spoiled ourselves on an evening meal at a local fish restaurant which was pretty good at 80 euros including drinks. Hotel is ideal if you want a quiet retreat but if you prefer to explore the island probably not. Overall a pleasant and much needed relaxing break. Would visit again .
