The reason I booked a room at Extended Stay instead of a cheap motel was because I was under the impression that it would be a nicer place to stay. I could have saved a good amount of money and gotten a room at a cheap motel for the same if not better quality. I walked into the lobby and stood at the unmanned front desk to check-in. This was around 4 pm, a time when I would think a lot of guests would be checking in. I started to get quite irritated after about 10 minutes of standing there alone, then finally a woman walked up and said "I'll be right with you". There wasn't even a roll of paper towels, a coffee machine or ice tray/bucket for the kitchen. They want guests to walk back and forth from the front desk to their rooms balancing the contents of a kitchen in their arms. Even a Motel 6 has a coffee machine in their rooms. The bathroom had the worst shampoo I've ever used (left my hair like straw) and no conditioner. The tub looked filthy. The worst part of the bathroom was the open space in the tub where a large spider crawled out of. I spilled some water on the floor near the bed and wiped it up with some tissues which came back black. Our initial room keys didn't work and we had to have them replaced after getting locked out. The "continental breakfast" that is advertised is a joke, it's literally coffee and packaged muffins by the front desk. I wont be staying here again, which is a shame because the location is perfect for my work and home situation.

The staff was incredibly friendly which almost made up for the lack of standard amenities. We did not realize that there was no maid service, and that we would have to unclog our own clogged toilet on check-in, (YES!), or go get our own refill toilet paper and tissues! Or that "breakfast included" meant coffee and just a muffin or a granola bar! The website was not clear on these details at all. :(

There was carpet cleaning throughout the hotel when we visited, including kicking us out of our room for 30 minutes; very irritating. The front desk often forgot our requests, too. But I did love that they allowed our dog, and did have dishes to borrow during the stay.

Super nice people! Easy check in. Great location! Looking forward to staying here again!

The room smelled like smoke. There was pet hair everywhere. The breakfast was just coffee. Definitely not worth $100/night.

Hotel was great, the rooms were clean and roomy. Great staff in front desk and very quiet area.

Hotel is not close to area of activity. A 20 minute drive to HB pier. Nothing around the hotel to walk to. Location is fitting for business visitors rather than tourists. Daily room cleaning is not available, must be requested for a fee. Breakfast is modest (muffins + cereal bars).

Very impressed by the friendly staff. Always courteous and helpful. Quiet rooms, lobby and hallways.

The staff at the hotel were kind and prompt- but The actual room was uncomfortable and smelled like cigarette smoke. Pillows smelled like chemicals so those were placed on the floor- I found hairs in the sheets and the counters had rings and were sticky as though they were never cleaned.

Not good - needs huge remodel. Bad smell and run down.

Booked this room for my dad and he felt it was cozy.

Perfect and great value ... Hidden gem ... Highly recommend ... Nothing to say negative
