"Great views. Of course. Highlight. The rest? Not so much. The finishings are terrible - spaces between the floor boards, very dirty grout in tub, the shower curtain looked quite dirty etc. The woman who checked us in was very nice. No offer to help with bags. Super steep stairs up. But that’s fine - they lock the thermostat! What?? Thankfully she came up and left it unlocked. We just wanted the stupid heat off they had far too warm. Lots of ants in kitchen on the counter. The owners response? It’s ant season…no offer to get an ant trap etc so the kitchen was unusable. The food in the restaurant was very good. No grab bar in shower. No mat for the floor getting out, tub very slippery. It didn’t seem very secure as the door barely latches but we bring a travel lock for the door so that wasn’t an issue. They don’t say they are luxury and they aren’t. The windows open which is awesome. The view is lovely. TV? Not really. They don’t even have Tubi or allow you to download it even tho it is free. So that was a bummer but the ships were our reason for being there and that did not disappoint. It is a perfect location and is generally what they say it will be. That comment about the ants was the last straw for me. If you want to watch ships, don’t need a nicely finished place to stay, are very mobile and do not need the above things, this would be a great choice. The ships are a must see. "

"The house worked well for us. It’s big lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Host was very responsive when messaged. It does seem a bit abused by other guests. The ice and water in the refrigerator did not work. It still is much better than booking a hotel. "

"This was one of the best properties I have ever stayed at! Rustic Retreat all around. From check in to check out all was smooth, host Jag is very accommodating. The cabin has everything you need for your stay and also great for families. The beds were so comfortable and waking up to the beautiful view makes it even better. The beach and water were perfect for walking and swimming and just pure nature all around! Bring your Bocci or any other beach activities you like. They supply paddle boards and kayaks with life jackets as well. You are close to town and shopping if you need to replenish. Let’s not forget the views, sunrise and sunsets, absolutely stunning especially by the fire. I will definitely be returning as often as I can as this is my new favourite spot!
