Visiting Hoi on 12/12, was recommended Imperial hotel for best view in town. Went with my friend for some cocktails at the top bar, the view and setting is beautiful! Highly recommend but the bar waiter was more then unwelcome, very rude and you can see that he is not happy to serve us. It’s such a shame, as bar and view is amazing, you don’t want stay or have a drink there at all. Real shame.
Spent 2 nights here. Check in was smooth. Friendly staff. Rooms spacious but out dated furnishings(after staying at 3 modern designed hotels) Linen was crisp and comfortable bed with pillows. Bathroom was adequate. I want to compiment Nhu Quynh at the travel desk for her assistance in booking us our half day tour of the city.....well done.
The service of the workers are very friendly and comforting. A standard room is very spacious and luxurious. The hotel does have a few antiques but that makes it stand out. The food is a wide variety and the restaurants have very tasty food.
We stayed for 3 days in a junior sweet with awesome views ovelooking the perfume river and the city. The staff throughout the hotel are phenomenally friendly and helpful. The buffet is great. The 16th floor lounge and bar have great views of the city for a drink or photos.
Good sized room with views in two directions. Separate shower and bath. Weather was extremely wet when we visited but hotel offered an umbrella when we ventured out alone. A good size pool which I swam in twice. The main lobby has a Vietnamese style and there are good views from the 16th floor bar and restaurant area. The staff were very attentive.
Super hotel with stunning views over the city & river from the excellent 16th floor bar & restaurant where we were lucky enough to also have our breakfast. Rooms were spacious & clean with super size bed. Double aspect views were a bonus. Hotel set a 5 minute walk from the bustling centre of Hue where there are numerous bars & restaurants to meet all tastes & budgets. Would liked to have stayed longer. Staff were excellent all speaking English & prepared to try & learn more.
We arrived mid afternoon in heavy rain and poor visibility. We were shown straight up to the bar on the 16th floor for our group welcome, which was a welcome cup of tea and panoramic views of Hue. We were allocated a room on the 9th floor which still gave us views on two sides, especially looking out over the Perfume River. The room quite striking in that there is quite a lot of wood on show which these days is not the norm. The room was well appointed with a broad, firm bed which was very comfortable. There was a flat screen tv with plenty of channels from a variety countries. There was plenty of storage space, a safe for valuables and a small fridge/mini bar.The aircon worked well and soon warmed up when it got too cool. There was a decent size bathroom with a lovely broad shower head giving a great quantity of water from directly overhead. Unusually these days there was a separate bath too. Our group's breakfast was served up on the 16th floor with a reasonable variety of food on offer but not as much as some places. The staff were very welcoming and helpful when needed, like when we had a problem with the room safe, a member of staff resolved the matter within 10 minutes. The plugs were two pin flat type and on 220v. The hotel was well located and within easy reach of plenty of bars and restaurants.
We stayed couple of nights as part of the trip. The hotel has fantastic views from their rooftop bar. It is also walkable distance to good restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Also staff were very courteous. There is a shop at the hotel that has quality goods but expensive. We had a lovely view from our hotel room. The breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choice with selection of fresh fruits.
This is a very comfortable hotel which overlooks the perfume river from the upper floors. Our room was spacious and comfortable with an excellent view of the perfume river. The weather was, well monsoon weather and so warm and wet. The hotel supplied enormous umbrellas but we were still able to see the many sights in the town. The breakfast was fine but it really catered for Chinese tourists with enormous bowls of soup etc. Let the hotel arrange your trips. Trying to negotiate with boatmen is very fraught. Example: hotel perfume river trip (private) $25. Asking the boatmen. Best price$80 The staff are all very helpful which is what is needed as few here speak English
Great hotel close to everything. Staff were amazing especially Yen who looked after us with great care. Our room on the corner of the 10th floor had stunning views Breakfast was fantastic and service great. Rooftop bar beautiful at night
