We stayed here for two nights and were more than comfortable in our large room with a great view on the sixth floor. The service was impeccable. The bathroom has both a deep tub and a large shower. From the rooftop bar, there is a panoramic view of the city, including the Citadel which is lit up pink at night. The shop in the lobby has some gorgeous things that are remarkably reasonable. You can walk to many good restaurants, the river, and some pedestrian streets where we found young musicians are performing great live music and good shopping opportunities.
This hotel is not far from bars and restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly and professional. The room was well furnished very clean, comfy bed and had a very good bathroom/shower. Plenty of toiletries. The breakfast was excellent; plenty of choice (no porridge) with chef to cook eggs to your choice. great view from the restaurant.
Expectations not met, old hotel in need of renovation. Not a very welcoming staff, very interested in selling tours. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but poor quality, food that should have been hot was cold. Great hotel tour your bus groups, of which they had many.
Imperial hotel is located right in city center next to the river and the iconic bridge on the river. The hotel lobby is grand and the interiors and rooms are tastefully done. Views of the river and city from the rooftop restaurant and bar are breathtaking and panoramic. They have a nice buddha temple on top of the rooftop restaurant. We stayed here for two nights and had the river and city side facing room on the 15th floor and enjoyed our stay there very much. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and the food was tasty; albeit a bit expensive but you are paying for the view. Breakfast spread was good and tasty. There are several nice shops and restaurants around the hotel and the area looked safe. Overall a good hotel and enjoyable stay.
Very disappointed ...we paid 500,000, vnd ..$ 22 for a buffet breakfast of minimal choice for two...poor value. Good service but no amount of crawling can make up for poor value...five stars...really? Won't visit again.
We had one night stay in Hue and had the pleasure of staying in this hotel. Staff are great and helpful. Breakfast is good. Rooms are super clean and the location is great near the water. Walking distance from the attractions and opposite a great coffee place. Thank you!
To say we were disappointed is an understatement! There were 9 of us and we were all very disappointed! The service was very poor, our meals didnt come out together, some were not warm and half the group had finished their meal before others had even got theirs! The manager was not really interested and left the staff to deal with the situation. The cost did by no means reflect our experience. We had to negotiate our bill, so so poor. We have eaten at lower rated places and had the best experience. I would not recommended this hotels restaurant at all!! 😕 I didnt want to give any stars but it would not let me submit with out selecting one!
Hotel a little dated and tired looking. Can't fault the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room had fantastic views over the river. The room very dark and headboard looking worn and dirty. Roof top bar nice to have a relaxing drink and take in the wonderful view.
We stayed here for 2 nights and pleased it wasn’t any longer! It’s an old hotel that would have been very grand in its day but needs updating... The room was quite large as it was a corner room so the views were good however little things like lack of power sockets was annoying and poor quality thin towels. The dining room is large and the buffet has a good selection however all the food was quite poor quality. There is a spectacular food market in Hue so why was there tinned pineapple for breakfast? The roof top bar which people have raved about was not welcoming they had a tv on all the time we were in there, we were the only 2 people and the tables looked like they needed a good polish! Overall the staff were lovely which was the best part of our stay.
We really enjoyed our two nights stay. We had a fantastic double aspect room with views over the Perfume river. Highly recommend visiting the rooftop bar at night, the drinks weren't cheap but the views again more than made up for the cost of your drink!
