Lesser than promised

Do not believe the text on the hotel website. It is definitely not the most impressive hotel i hue and state of the art. But it is clean and with the amities promised. But, and this is a big but.. The hotel staff are VERY bad at english. In the reception they would rather lie, which they do, than ask again. When we arrived(rather lately at at 10pm) we asked if it was possible to buy a soda or beer in the hotel or anyway around the hotel. The answer was no, not possible(after a long and interpretive and explanatory intermesso) we found out that the hotel bar was still open, the room had a minibar, and within 5 minutes the were several minimarts! this was the same situation again and again with the reception staff. The breakfast was kind of disappointing. Unless you a not expecting anything but a very vietnamese breakfast(with the added sad bacon soggy bacon and pedestrian obligatory omelet for the westernes). The breakfast staff was in general non english speaking. In general not a satisfying experience, but if you get a room on the top floors it has great views, but prepare for a lesser experience than promised on the web.

We're glad to just stayed for one night to this hotel (originally planning to stay for two nights but they don't have extra room the next day). Start with the check in staff cant find our reservation so we have to wait until ok. They want us to pay $5 extra to check in early as we arrived 1:15 pm. We wait for 2 pm. Room very spacious, one light on the wall so kinda dark. Table lamp is not working, over all the room is old. Bathroom ok. The big disappointment!!! is the Wi-Fi, works for few minutes and then out, wait for half an hour then connect again. Around 10pm we can't really get any connections. Mid night TV frozen. It's a nightmare and the worst hotel we had for a two weeks in Vietnam. Since they don't have extra room so we book a night stay at SHINING SERENE HOTEL and it was the nicest and beautiful hotel. We are welcome with a delicious plate of mixed fruits and a watermelon juice and a cold towel that really relaxed us after a day of touring.Very 5 🌟 welcome!!! Room spacious nice and clean.

Great Value Hotel

We enjoyed the breakfast, it was the best hotel breakfast we had during our 3 week Vietnam trip. The pool was also very nice. This hotel is a great value for how little it costs.

Eine geräumige Wohnung in Strandnähe, getrennt vom Strand durch eine sehr stark befahrenen Straße. Man kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Linienbus viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Wir haben einen kompletten Monat dort verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

La habitación no tenía calefacción y cuando se lo comento en recepción me dicen que no que como es el ala antigua no tiene y cuando reservo el transfer al aeropuerto y paguo con mi tarjeta y me llega el cargo por mensaje del banco, me dicen que me lo quieren volver a cargar por que ha habido un “jumbo” y que no me lo han cobrado, que espere 5 minutos y veré que el cargo desaparece, que ya les había pasado con un cliente. Una semana después el cargo sigue cobrado. Como me niego a que me lo vuelvan a cobrar y después de pedir hablar con el manager, cosa que no sucedió, me dicen que ok, que me llevaran gratis, muy poca vergüenza es lo que tienen.

Nhìn chung nhân viên khách sạn rất lịch sự nhẹ nhàng và nhiệt tình. Nhưng trang thiết bị trong phòng nghèo nàn. Quyển sách hướng dẫn giới thiệu khách sạn ko có. Don't stay at Gold Hotel

Don't stay at Gold Hotel. They tried to put us in a little dungeon on the ground floor. It was a dark, damp, dank and quite frankly depressing kennel. Our booking paperwork clearly said a room with balcony, pillow top mattress with Italian linen. Yeah right! We politely debated with reception to be moved. A real shame. Next room at least had a window! Dated, drab hotel. Avoid it.

Vi boede på et værelse på en etage der også var konferencelokale på. Det gjorde at vi måtte høre på gæster der råbte, spyttede, høj musik, børn der løb rundt til langt ud på natten og folk der forsøgte at komme ind på vores værelse. Til trods for hotellets løfte om at gøre noget ved det, iflg sidste Expedia anmeldelse, skete dette ikke. Morgenmaden var desværre kedelig og juicen var bestemt ikke frisk. Poolen var meget beskidt- man kunne ikke se gennem vandet.

Average hotel in Hue, worth what you pay

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room was clean as well as the bathroom, cleaning staff was average. Buffet breakfast included was ok. I think they have an adjacent new hotel with better rooms but more expensive. The only inconvenience was the bed as it was rock solid. For what you pay is correct. Thanks.
