The room was dirty and rundown, everywhere we looked there were signs of neglect. The misleading photos on the website are likely of one or two rooms that have been renovated on the entire property. The pool is in a separate shed-like building that was only accessible through the parking lot.
On the other side is this lampshade was marker drawing from a child.
Gross flooring in the bathroom.
Bathroom ceiling. I’m sure this place had unhealthy levels of mold spores in the air.
Dumpster that had been there a while. In other areas on the property we found discarded mattresses and air conditioners just lying about. A dump basically.

Staff was great! I showed up super early to check in because we lost power at Trollhaugen. Even in the midst of a renovation, and a panic of other guests, they were able to get me a room within 20 mins to accommodate me! If I’m ever back to Trollhaugen, this is where I’ll be staying. Anthony was great!

This property is under new management. Anthony was amazing. He went above and beyond to take care of us and make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were clean, pool was warm, and our requests were taken care of. There is a restaurant next door with THE best cheese curds and lots of trails and activities nearby.
