No coffee at breakfast until a guest used the service phone. The parking lot was really beat up and potholed.
We had pouring water from the upstairs unit into our bathroom over the toilet and onto the floor we could not even walk into bath without getting drenched we told the lady I ate our breakfast talked with other people staying at the house came back and it was still pouring down. I came back to go to the bathroom in the lobby since I could not use my own bathroom and I wrote let her know it was still there she was so defensive and said I can’t do anything about it and claimed I did not tell her about except for only 15 minutes ago the point is if you have pouring water coming from the upstairs and you can’t even use the bathroom in a hotel that alone is a horrific experience. But to insist I she can’t do anything about it and not even offer an apology but a very rude attitude which all the other guest saw Is terrible customer experience for such a beautiful part of the country

There was a misunderstanding that I had a dog yet they made a room switch to accommodate us. That was good. Unfortunately we were awoken up in the middle of the night by yelling and fighting of other guests which went on for a long time.
The room was not "dirty", but not notably clean, either. Mildew on the grout in the bathroom, gunge built up on the tiles around the tub, and so forth. Gunk and stains in the carpet. No maid service. If you want clean towels, TP, or whatever, you have to hunt their maintenance/custodial guy down to get it. He's happy to provide, but the whole having to hunt someone down thing is not great, IMO.
very run down musty smelling says there is a indoor pool but its not open and they don't tell you till after you try to get in to it and your key doesn't work and you call the front desk because there is do one there because that's lock even when you try the check in. you could not pay me to go there again
I liked that their price was only $51 for a standard room with 1 queen bed. But unfortunately I made the mistake of booking online through Orbitz and ended up paying over $86 for the room. The motel website or Orbitz failed to warn that the lobby and pool was closed and no continental breakfast was being served which is most likely why the room would have been $51 had I called the motel for reservations. Never again will I book with Orbitz!!
Nice & quiet. Close to parks, close to many activities.
Enjoyed the stay, especially the pool. The sauna was a nice touch.
Next to a nice restaurant, walking distance. Could not get the heater at the right temperature but the room was comfortable without heat.
liked the end room we had and the first floor. just had to sleep there. glad the TV worked. This worked well for our travels that weekend.
It was a small dingy, room; and it was worth the money. The convenience to the lounge more than made up for any amenities that weren't present.
The Dalles delivered exactly what I hoped from a budget hotel near Interstate SP. The room was clean with no smell. Interaction with the front desk was perfectly ordinary. Makes me doubt the validity of some of the poor reviews. I'd stay again.

Donna,The issue you mentioned at the desk during breakfast time, front desk agent ask you to go into that room so he knows whats going on, until then the group you was talking they the one created the issue. Second thing, you stayed whole night and ask for refund and it was denied since you brought 2 unreported people and when we addressed you, you started making drama in the lobby.
