Not the same D Varee

I didn’t know this was different D Varee from my last stay in Hua Hin in 2016. Apparently the D Varee across from Market Village Hua Hin changed ownership and is now operating under different name. D Varee then reopened at this location which is in way out location. They offer a shuttle twice daily, but only does drop off at the Clock Tower, and not at Market Village Hua Hin so one can easily access beach. I booked this hotel thinking it was my hotel from previous stay, located across from Market Village and minutes to beach. Don’t make same mistake.

Fantastic Hotel and staff

Amazing service, great food, attentive staff (Pong in particular is just brilliant), Clean, spacious and well equipped rooms. Its around a 3 mile trip into town so not really walking distance but local buses are frequent and cheap so not a huge deal. Overall, I loved my weekend stay there, I will be booking again.

Building noise

Booked for 5 nights as had stayed at the hotel before, but since the last time the hotel has gone downhill. Hotel staff not professional at all, when wanted to pay by a credit card I was told a machine is broken. On my check out day I had to pay for the room service and the machine seemed still be out of order. How come? Not even going to mention the continues building noise from next door and the clubs banging loud music till early mornings. The rooms are basic and the bed is super hard. Had to pay for a new hotel as couldn’t stand it more then 3 days.

Stunning hotel

This hotel will blow your mind as soon as you enter, the architecture and layout is stunning. The staff are equally as nice. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. My only gripe would be it’s a little far out of town and getting a taxi is little tricky.

The room was good and bigger than i expected, clean, easy to find and reasonable price. Nearby convenience store. One more thing is this hotel is very close to night club which you can hear the song during the club open. Anyway, overall is acceptable.

Budget friendly hotel with pool

Great breakfast and service. Rather calm during the week, fills up with local families from Bangkok on weekend. 7/11 and Makro supermarket nearby for basic needs. To go to the beach you cannot use the soi next to the hotel, as a house with 3 dogs seems to block access. Walk to the next soi (northwards or southwards). Both have stone stairs. The pool is clean.

Nice hotel !

The actual hotel looks older than the picture. Hotel is located near the club, quite lound at night. Hotel staffs are great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great !
