The proximity to the night market and train station are really the best parts of Cha-Ba hotel. Rooms are spacious with nice big beds, clean bathroom (cool bathtub) and air conditioning. Breakfast is not great, so many good spots near by, I'd recommend skipping the all inclusive breakfast deal and walking down the block. But if all you need is a nice private hotel to relax in while exploring the city of Hua Hin, Cha-Ba is totally adequate.

Great location, near Hua Hin Station & night market, not far from famous restaurant & breakfast soi. A lot of minivan station nearby. Private paring, large & cozy lobby. Large single room & toilet, poweeful aircond, clean and quiet room. Breakfast included, quite good. Disadvantage, no lift.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights The public area is quite nice with seating and use of a PC The rooms are very basic and dated and in need of modernising The bed was comfortable enough Air conditioning was noisy in our room The bathroom was not great cracked tiles grouting was various different colours it looked like it had been coloured in with a felt tip pen? overall the room felt a little bit dirty Breakfast was included but has only 3 choices The hotels own photos make the rooms look much nicer than they are The hotel is located well minutes from everything in Hua Hin and does have free parking I would not recommend staying at the price i paid approx $34 a night

Good location, only few mins walk to night market. Room is okay but our double bed was broken, we felt the bed spring when we sat on. Toilet smelt unpleasant and air con was noisy. Breakfast was good though, there are few choices.

We chose this hotel for it's downtown location. On arrival we were pleased to see the off street parking, after that disappointment set in. There is no lift and no one to help you up the stairs to the rooms. Our room was uncomfortable, noisy and smelly. Breakfast was inedible. Would never visit again.

Stayed here for three nights in the king size room. +'s: free bottles of water, good breakfast, good location, mini fridge, TV, clean, safe. -'s: awful bed. I slept on top of the very flat pillows in order to cover the springs that felt as if the mattress cover was the only thing separating them from me.

I enjoyed my stay here. Not an exciting hotel, a bit dated, no embellishments but clean and functional. The rooms are large with all amenities – TV , A/C / fridge / wi-fi (not stable in room) water provided daily. Toiletries are dispenser style. The washrooms are large. There is a large open air lobby, common area, with sofas, chairs, bar, computer. Breakfast, hot made to order was included and served in the breakfast room on the main floor. There is no elevator so you have to climb steps to the 4th floor. Hua Hin is a bit of a sprawling town but this hotel is close to the main streets for shopping etc. All 5 minutes away - the mini-van station to Bangkok, Night Market (be sure to try Hoi Tod – fried pancake with mussels) and Day Market. The beach is a 10 minute stroll along a nice street with shops. There is a public toilet at the entrance to the beach . You can rent a beach chair for 100 baht for the day, and they will pamper you if you buy their food and drinks – a wonderful way to spend a day (80 baht for beer, 150 for a papaya salad) There is a Green Bus (10 baht) that passes in front of the hotel that can take you to Takiab Village, Monkey Mountain – go early – it gets HOT. There are a lot of Temples here.

Travel from Malaysia to here via train. Arrive Hua Hin around 8am and I only need 10 minutes of walk to arrive this hotel. Very easy to be found. Due to my check in is not peak season, so the hotel allow me to be check in early. So great to have a bath and rest before going to exploring Hua Hin. Another nearest spots to this hotel is Chatsila night market and the clock tower. My room is facing to sun during sun set, so the room is quite hot during evening. Although the room have air conditioning, but need around 30 minutes to cold down the temperature (Hotel need to aware of this). Simple breakfast provided in my hotel package.

I traveled to Hua Hin by train so I choose to stay somewhere nearby the railway station. There are a few hotels in this area and I chosen this hotel because it is within my budget. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station and it is very easy to find. The room is big and toilet with bathtub and it is very clean. The only thing I may complain is the aircon is quite loud especially when sleeping at night, but I still managed to sleep without any problem because I was tired of whole day out. The breakfast is very simple either American breakfast or Thai food like fried rice or noodle, it comes with orange juice and coffee or tea. I must highlight here the staff at the reception is very helpful and friendly. She given me all the details on how to catch the correct songteaw to different location and the most popular green color songteaw stop in front of the hotel. Besides that she did told me which minivan service is more reliable when I travel back to Bangkok. The location of the hotel is great and less than 5 minutes walk to the night market where you can grab food and shopping.

For those who travel from Malaysia by train, this is one of the hotel that i would recommend because from Hua Hin railway station it takes only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. We check in the hotel as early as 9 am. At first the staff reluctant to let us check in but after negotiating with the front desk they let us check in all the rooms. We booked deluxe twin bed room and the room size is quite big, but the furniture is a little bit old. All the rooms are wifi access, equipped with a fridge and tv ( sorry, not LCD ). Anyway, at this price ( RM90.00 with tax ) we cant expect much. By the way, there is no lift service in this hotel. The menu for breakfast is the same and the taste consider acceptable. At night just a mere 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to famous restaurant, night market and 7-11, very convenient indeed. Those who loves quiet environment( NO PUBS NEARBY ), this is a nice hotel that you should stay at. For those who want to travel on car renting, can just walk over to a coffee seller and ask for car rental. We managed to rent a Camry 2.0 for 1,500 baht / day. Cheap. Anyway, even though this is a budget hotel but i would come back to stay again.
