Thank you for all the staff that make our stay relaxing and worth our money spending. Breakfast and fruit juice station are brilliant. F&B staff are attentive and friendly as well as Front office ataff.
Every time I stay in this resort I spend my time at breakfast more than other resort. Their breakfast is a feast, more than u can find in other Resorts. Aip, Tanya and Lookmai are very helpful and friendly Children are fond with water park and the large pool at resort,we parents enjoy having spa, those magic hand make us at ease and relax. Front Desk Por and team are helpful and knowledgeable and superb housekeeping team they have. Thank you very much for the warm and friendly host. JD ^^
If only the pool water was warmer, it would have been a perfect stay... Winter in Thailand should not have been this cool but apart from that one little fact, we had a great stay. The property is great and so is the food. And service. Plus, the hotel sponsored a tennis tournament so they gave guests complimentary tickets and transfers to the games which was a bonus for a sports freak like myself. Got to see the number one women's tennis player in the world. The rooms are great but unfortunately couldn't get an upgrade, though eligible bec of my IHG status, as the hotel was full. The pool area is excellent but the water was very very cold so couldn't really swim. There was a temperature controlled area but that was like a jacuzzi so could just lay about in there. The fitness centre is great. The breakfast is very good as was most of the food we ate there. There is also a mall opposite which is very handy. Enough options to eat there as well. Highly recommend this property but maybe just before the high season or in the summer when you can really enjoy the pool.
My wife Judy and I stayed in Hua Hin Intercontinental for 5 nights during SongKran 2018 (Thai New Years) and we had the most Incredible and beautiful stay ! The Staff (from Food staff to Housekeeping and Front desk Staff) treated us every day like we were family and special guests. We had stayed in Pattaya Intercontinental in 2017 and thought the stay there was wonderful, but the Hua Hin Intercontinental is perhaps the BEST Staff and facility we have ever experienced !1 We met the General Manager Michael Janssen and the Resort Manager, Lily Kittivorapod, and they are the most genuine and nicest people. They greeted us personally , each time we saw them during Breakfast or during the many Resort Activities during SongKran celebrations 2018. Michael Janssen seems to treat and love his employees and they equally appreciate him also !! Lily Kittivorapod, we saw and spoke to every day and she wanted to make sure that we were taken care of and having a great time. We were greeted by so many great staff members: Front Desk, were were taken care of by Hely Liu ... Hely was so nice and patient with us !! She performed her job so expertly with a smile. She made sure we had the best room and stay. My wife needed to go to the Bangkok Hospital after she had a small cut, and the HouseKeeping executive Nuntaporn made sure that we got transportation to and from the hospital which was 3km away and so she had a Shuttle bus transport my wife. Excellent customer service and "Care". The Assistant Front office manager Attacha Aeyot took care or our every need to helping us plan transportation and schedule any events we needed transportation too. In Summary, Beautiful Resort and Beautiful Staff !! Richard/Judy April 2018
I was quite disappointed staying at Intercontinental. The reality is quite different from what you see in pictures. First, the hotel is divided on two sides with a road and bridge in between. I made booking through booking.com and there was no mention of this anywhere in description. When we checked in we were told me check in staff that our room will be on other side of the road. We ended up paying extra to get room on beach side. The hotel is right on the busy street and there is terrible traffic noise if you sit outside on the balcony. The beach front is very narrow that doesn’t give this a look of luxury hotel. Service is terrible, whatever you order you have to wait a long time. The girl at the reception conveniently “forgot” to call us to inform our room is ready after checking us in. Staff doesn’t seem to be polite, no proper English training. All in all a very average experience.
I stayed there during Chinese New Year and the hotel was basically packed so i didn’t expect much. This was the 3rd time there and i didn’t have high hope since the 2nd time around 6 years ago i had pretty bad experience with the hotel but now i have a baby who has pretty severe food allergy so i need really good hotel where all my needs can be accommodated. The only con for me is that i arrived the hotel at 1pm and expected to check in at 3pm but actually it was nearly 4pm that the rooms were ready but the hotel offered complimentary afternoon tea so the waiting time passed more pleasantly. The rooms are immaculated, spotless and very children friendly. No sharp edges or anything that can be harmful for children and everything is working as it should be. Since my baby girl has severe food allergy, her food needs to be cooked separately to make sure that it’s no contamination or cross-contamination whatsoever, the service is very caring. I send raw food with ingredient to the room service and 15 minutes later it comes back in the box ready to eat and it’s very yummy! Another compliment from my family is the breakfast buffet. We are breakfast people and we take breakfast rigourously.Buffet here is the best! There are endless selections to choose from and everything is top quality, not just for show. I enjoy breakfast tremendously. All staff are very polite and very friendly and extremely helpful. So much different from the 2nd visit. I hope they could keep up this standard because this will be my staple hotel in Hua Hin from now on.
I stayed in Hua Hin for business. The hotel is centered, has a shuttle bus that can take you anywhere. Staff is amazing and the rooms are fabulous. There are two wings. One on the beach side and the other, across the street, with a bridge over the road. Both seem to be above average in their style, design and overall experience. Breakfast was good and original. Nice and well-kept swimming pools and easy access to the beach. The design enables privacy and I would no doubt be happy to return, not only for business but to relax and spent some leisure time at this beautiful hotel.
Wow !!! That was I can say. My holiday was totally perfect. The staffs treated me so well. Breakfast were great with lots of choices of food from Asian to Western. The hotel is located opposite the department store. Night market is not far by hotel van providing for free. We will definitely come back for New Year. Well done !
The staff were genuinely very friendly and in eight days this was absolutely consistent across the board. The rooms were fantastic and the pool area is the best I have been to. Fantastic hotel, top quality. There is an annex across a main road. People should be aware of this. The rooms are newer but you are further from the beach. I was housed there initially but they moved me to the main hotel without fuss. Very helpful. They were determined that I would enjoy my stay.
Good hotel and my daughter loves the pool so much. Although the telephone cant work for the whole 2 days, staff gave me a mobile phone and save a front desk number in it so I can call them for anything. In the end for the telephone thing they avoid the extra bed fee for one day.
