Fint Hotel lidt uden for byen

Great value but a bit away from the action.

Hotel is fairly new and in good condition. Pool is area is lovely for a budget hotel, and room facilities such as fridge, air conditioning and shower excellent. Breakfast was basic. Staff were friendly but had limited English, and room was not serviced (I had to tip 100baht/$4 to have the room cleaned once). Location is a bit out of the way, and about a 10-15 minute walk to where the nearest taxi could be found. The area around the hotel is a construction site amongst the local's homes, although we found a very nice garden restaurant just 5-10 minutes walk away. The hotel had at least one motorbike and a pushbike for hire at very reasonable rates (we negotiated 700baht/$30 for a week for the motorbike which was great).

This place needs to improve in all aspects.

I paid for 3nights but can stay only 1night: -No one at the reception and had to wait for a while at arrival (2pm) -When I first entered the room, only the bed was clean and well-set but the rest looked unclean especially dirty balcony and hair in the bathroom floor. -Too noisy to sleep (as close to highway, neighbor bird/rooster/dog/lizard sounds, and strong wind hitting the bathroom door& balcony glass door during my stay (Jan2015) -8am breakfast was still not ready -no daily cleaning -I couldn't connect to in-room internet at all (4connects but very weak and unstable connects)

Not for non-Thai tourist

Location was far from centre and out on it's own in the middle of a new construction site. Staff appeared to be friendly but spoke no English. Room was very modern and clean with a great shower. TV had multiple channels but unfortunately all Thai. It was a very isolating experience, however facilities were nice.
