Room had a musty old cigarette smell. Carpet was not horrid but felt gross, we just kept shoes on. AC didnt help smell or cool the room as much as we would of liked. Beds clean and comfy. Kitchen part of room even though we didnt use anything other than fridge was filthy including fridge. Bathroom was clean. We had many people for a wedding staying there

The hotel carpet in the halls and room was stained pretty bad, furniture was very worn, the outside looked run down, flowers were not taken care of half dead.

The Wingate was a very pleasant place to stay. The location was perfect for our visit. It was clean and safe. We will stay here again as we visit the Brighton MI area about 5 times a year. I want to give a great big thanks to the Manager, Tiffany, and her staff, Brandon and Brianna who have been so helpful and accommodating and friendly. Very respectful people working at Brighton Wingate.

It was clean and the staff was friendly. The only complaint was the noise from the lobby/pool, which can easily be heard in the room since it’s located in the center of the hotel.
