I’ve heard great things about hotel zaza over the years! I found my stay incredibly disappointing and quite frankly the hotel felt dirty and dated. I decided to check out a day early & the only person that asked about my stay was the lovely gentleman at valet. Would not recommend.
It's close to the Museums which they're in a walking distance, along with the zoo and Rice University.
I love staying at Zaza. The artwork is incredible and all over the hotel and elevators. They have fun things at the check-in desk, like a glass jar full of red hots. The goodies in the room are yummy!

This place is all about service! I just love staying here - the restaurant was absolutely delicious and service was top notch. The complimentary coffee stations on each floor in the mornings are wonderful! I just can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the downtown area!

Excellent location in the Museum District, walking distance to all the museums. Hotel is very well furnished and maintained, if not a bit eclectic. Room was small by American standards, but comfortable.
