Holiday Inn Kemah (Near Boardwalk)

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

the hotel is within walking distance from the Kemah Boardwalk.

overall a well located and nice facility... the musty odor on the fourth floor made me assume there had been a water leak that wasn't properly addressed and my sinuses went ballistic... the entrance had 30.06 and 30.07 posted and I had to leave me firearm in my truck which I am not comfortable doing. I would not stay here again unless the change their gun policy and rid the 4th floor of the musty odor....

Conveniently located, we did see a couple of small ants on the nightstand between the beds. Pool water was not very inviting, so we didn't get in it.

This hotel was $100 cheaper than the boardwalk inn. We stayed one night. Very clean, looks brand new inside. quiet.

Great location for quick access to Kemah Boardwalk. Rooms look new or recently renovated. Only downside was poor wifi in our room, but we weren't in our room much anyway. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kemah.

Great place for business or leisure travel. Restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. It is difficult to find entertainment within walking distance of a hotel in this area of the city. If you are traveling for business in the La Porte/Baytown area, it is a nice change of pace.

Everything was great, except for the cleaning staff that knocked on our door four times from 9:30am to 10:50am. Checkout isn't until 11:00am.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops and Boardwalk. Looking forward to another visit and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Trip was great. Hotel location, staff & amenities where great as well. We even walked over 2 the Kemah Boardwalk good exercise. Hotel very clean , the king size bed slept great!

The hotel is great. It is near the boardwalk and the room is very comfortable. If you are visiting Kemah, I highly recommend you staying at this hotel.

Great location and well appointed hotel. I will be back for my next trip!

The hotel was clean, staff was great, just a 10 minute walk from the boardwalk. I would definitely stay again in the future

We wanted to stay within walking distance of the Boardwalk so you were a perfect location. We also wanted to be close to the port so we could get to our cruise ship easily. Again, perfect!

Took the wife to Kemah for a date night. We stayed at this Holiday Inn for the first time. It is a very nice hotel with surprisingly high end rooms. Had a great stay in general!

The Hotel was nice ..price a little to expensive when you can't even use the pool ...was dirty they keep telling us the guy is coming to clean it in an hour .... never happen so they lock the pool . I called 1 800 number and they assure me that the Hotel management will call me back ..never happend

The hotel was very nice and freindly staff. They were willing to go the extra mile without us even asking. something as simple as us asking for a area map. They did not have one to hand out. By the time I came back down stairs, the front desk person printed up a map and checked off all the good spots. It was very clean and a bar down stairs if you wish to stay around the bar. The hotel was close enouph to the boardwalk and bars to walk, but still far enouph not to be enterupted by the sound of the boardwalk.
