The check in process is horrible. I came to this location three times this month and each time the experience is not great. It seems they are short of help. I stand at the counter for ten minutes with no acknowledgment or any attendant present. This last stay on the 26th took the cake. The lady working there checks me in and say insert your credit card. I asked is this for the 10 dollars incidental. She says no for the stay for 178. I advised her I paid with Orbitz. She said no you didn’t you will need to pay. I advised I would not pay again. I tried showing her my receipt. She said I will need to call my manager. I said call them. She calls her manager but goes to the back to talk. Comes back and press some buttons on the computer and say the manager said to put you in a room as if she was doing me a favor. She tells the manager I have a card on file. Which I have not authorized. Instead of taking accountability for not knowing what she was doing and apologizing she takes the low road and say he (manager) is letting you have a room. I paid for the room and the proof is on my bank account.
I love it’s proximity to the Kemah Boardwalk.
Friendly, efficient and competent staff. Very knowledgeable about the area. Room extremely comfortable and clean. Only wish there was a restaurant on site. Don’t like having to go out around others during this pandemic.
Very clean hotel and friendly staff. No breakfast but there is coffee shop near by the hotel.
You could hear through the walls to the other room. I have never stayed in a hotel where you could hear the other people in the room next to us. The hotel is clean, but very very thin walls!

The hotel was very clean and nice. Hotel staff very friendly. The only negatives would be no free breakfast and for some reason the lobby always smelled funny. The rest of the hotel smelled good though.

The vent in the bathroom looked like it was fixing to fall out of the ceiling. No water pressure. Decided to eat at the restaurant in the hotel- MISTAKE! Took 1 1/2. Started bringing out food & said it would be another 10 minutes for Mac & cheese after we had waited already an hour. The wait staff was friendly & said she would give our rom number to manager to apologize for wait- never heard a word from them! Thank goodness it was only one night.

overall a well located and nice facility... the musty odor on the fourth floor made me assume there had been a water leak that wasn't properly addressed and my sinuses went ballistic... the entrance had 30.06 and 30.07 posted and I had to leave me firearm in my truck which I am not comfortable doing. I would not stay here again unless the change their gun policy and rid the 4th floor of the musty odor....
Conveniently located, we did see a couple of small ants on the nightstand between the beds. Pool water was not very inviting, so we didn't get in it.
This hotel was $100 cheaper than the boardwalk inn. We stayed one night. Very clean, looks brand new inside. quiet.
Great location for quick access to Kemah Boardwalk. Rooms look new or recently renovated. Only downside was poor wifi in our room, but we weren't in our room much anyway. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kemah.

Anonymous, Thank you for being our guest. We generally do not have this issue as our building was actually constructed at a higher standard with cement reinforced walls for safety and comfort. We understand when the hotel is at capacity or a large group or event is taking place noise although expected is possible.
