This was a last minute booking. the check in was easy, the lady behind the counter was pleasant, welcoming and very helpful. the entrance to the hotel, the hallway and the room were extremely clean.Nice smelling. I definitely would stay there again, and I will recommend the hotel to my friends and family.

Shiretown Hotel is the place to stay in Houlton,ME

I've stayed here 4 times in the last month and half. They are very consistent. Hospitality is welcoming, service is great, rooms are clean, and quiet. Just the way I like it.

I got 2 room. Online it said check in before midnight. We had a 3 hour drive and it was going to be close to that so i called to let the front desk know and the man said thats fine as long as you are here before 3 am. That was nice. We was in the area for a mud run in hodgdon. The one running it said he had contacted your hotel to see if you could sponsor them and possibly give a little discount for staying there for their events. I think that would be a good idea. I believe you would get more people staying there if you did it.
