Lovely Vintage Hotel

Love staying in vintage hotels and this did not disappoint! The community area with fridge and table was much appreciated. Will definitely stay here again!

The atmosphere was interesting. Loved the area - even though there was a lot of closed stores and buildings for sale. The inn, itself, was ok. Could use a couple more outlets, but otherwise, a good place to lay your head.

We booked and paid but forfeited over $400 because this place was not acceptable for us. As senior citizens it felt unsafe, We got another room elsewhere in town. The property looked like it was under development. Not a soul in site anywhere. Rooms and elevator blocked off for private use. No bar or restaraunt as advertised on site. Did not look anything like pictures.

this is a really great property. These folks are just getting started with it and managed to gracefully handle all issues even though they’re in the throes of starting up their Airbnb they were wonderful staff, and I truly look forward to seeing them grow and growing this business with these really cool historical rooms and space.

This is a very nice property and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are very nice and updated. Construction on River Street detracts from the whole Hot Springs experience but when it’s through it will be nice. The hotel is historic and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, along with Evan’s Plunge (pool). I would stay again!

Hotel in Hot Springs

This hotel is well located in Hot Springs. It is clean but a little weathered. The room was comfortable and there are plenty of common rooms to sit in. A lot of activity in the restaurant and bar.

Room was in horrible condition, bed felt like you were laying on a board. Bedding smelt stale and like mildew. We left and didn’t even stay, could not stay in the smell. The flooring was also damaged in several places causing a trip hazard for someone in a walker like me.

Nice old hotel in Hot Springs SD

Nice old hotel in Hot Springs. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Nice spa area with hot tub, sauna, sand room and hot granite room-- open 24 hrs--very relaxing. Friendly couple ran the hotel, they were quite hands off. Only coffee and hot water in morning sitting area-- byo breakfast or go out. Parking right outside, nicely met our needs!

Great location comes with history. Be prepared for historical level services but for use that was never an issue. Good steaks and food at hotel. Breakfast down the street and walking distance to spa. Easy access to park. Everything we wanted.

The owners of this property were very helpful regarding check in and directions. I don’t believe the property is worth the price they charge. It is an old building and not a typical hotel so for what you get I feel it was overpriced. For the most part is was quiet and fairly clean. There is no staff on site after 8 PM and there is a lock code in the main entrance to come and go which was not the safest to me.

It is a vintage hotel that was poorly renovated. It has no charmed. My room was furnished with old mismatch furniture. The hotel is way overpriced.

Absolutely delightful old hotel, beautifully appointed and located on the Main Street in a very lovely little town. We were delighted to find that this was more of a BnB than a hotel. Lovely furnishings and every comfort accommodated. A nice bar and common area and a lovely dining room serving absolutely delicious food with excellent, friendly service! There are also spa facilities on site - sauna, granite room, sand room and massage therapy rooms available. Communication with host was clear and prompt. Convenient access with door codes and clear directions and explanations. I can highly recommend! 10 out of 10! We wish we had planned to stay more than one night. We will definitely stay there if we come to the area again!

Just...ok

Room was small. Community fridge only where our beverages were stolen and our pizza was rifled through. Door locks are tricky. Will do for a night's sleep, clean and comfy beds but not awesome for the price.
