Overall it was okay the bed and bathroom where pretty clean however there’s was a problem with the bathroom door it wouldn’t close all the way cause the door frame was coming apart, the mirror in the door had a frame missing so it was dangerous for us and our dog to be walking near by it, we let the people know about it and they came and checked on it but didn’t do anything about it, so it was pretty uncomfortable to use the bathroom or take a shower. Wouldn’t go back.

To start with the MEN'S room off the lobby had no toilet paper or seat protectors and the door could not be closed.The desk person left and people couldn't get checked in, there were no towels and no one to get them. There were two metal staves sticking out of the side of the bed.

No Coffee for breakfast, in the breakfast room. Except for scrambled eggs, the whole breakfast consisted of high-carb foods. Breads and gravy were offered. Called at the beginning of the week to ensure the pool and hot tub were working. When we arrived, neither worked. The hot tub was broken, and the indoor pool was ice-cold. The room was adequate, the bed was heavenly. The coffee in the room helped to offset the disappointment, and the staff were eager and willing to accommodate by supplying extra coffee. Outside was a fire pit that was littered, and the majority of the lights that stretched around the perimeter of the sitting area were broken.

This place had no staff. Literally, i had to wait over a hour to see a employee walk in and he said he just flew in because someone called off. Yes flew in. Much more to say like he acted like it was no big deal but ill move to breakfast that didn't happen because this same employee was on his cellphone walking around which sounded like he was also working a call service. The room was decent but the place was not properly staffed.

The 4 stars are because of our first impression: the building has an odor when entering & the hallway carpets looked bad. We were totally surprised & would give an excellent for the room: it was big, clean, with nice carpet & comfortable beds.

Pictures did not reflect terrible quality. Parking lot, lobby, front desk run down & dirty. Rooms were somewhat updated & clean. HOWEVER, mattress bed frame protruded 4 inches under bed skirt. Cut the heck out of my leg! Bed frame was rusty and sharp. This cut may delay an upcoming shoulder surgery. The night staff rushed to assist to adjust bed frame and offered water and sodas. Next morning, breakfast area was filthy. We did not eat breakfast. Dirty sinks and counters. Not a picky person, but this was a terrible stay . I REQUEST A REFUND PLEASE.

Building location was good and quiet. Suite rooms are excellent. The whole place needs to be cleaned thoroughly and some major building reno, but has much potential.

The staff was friendly enough, and the bed was comfortable, and the room was mostly clean. But there was no shower curtain on the shower, which meant I sort of flooded the bathroom when I took a shower. Then when I grabbed the towel off the towel rack, the rack fell right off of the wall.

Don’t stay here.

The common area was filthy, the common area carpeting had chemical stains all over, the common area toilet was filthy, there was food left on the floor in the room, the bathroom knob was falling off, we had to defrost the freezer in the room in order to use it, though a hot tub was advertised it was not functioning, the check in clerk was preoccupied with her phone, we made reservations for four people and there were only two towels. We had four night’s reservation but checked out after one night and the clerk would only give credit for two. I told him I would challenge that but he said it was their policy. He tried to contact the manager and it only went to voicemail. He told me the manger would contact me between 10-11 that morning. Never heard from him.

Absolutely horribel

It was horrible, the first room had mold in the bathroom and a fridge that was left open and froze over. Requested a room change and the next room had open light sockets. The inside security latches were broken IN BOTH ROOMS!. The "pool" looked like it had mold in it and there was a collection of sand at the bottom. The Baymont in Hot Springs South Dakota is absolutely filthy. I also warned a guest checking in to make sure they check their room cause mold likes to spread. I requeated a refund and was told no by the lady at the front named Maya. We did not stay the night that i had booked. Saturday the 20th. We left. Id still like my refund. I got the managers email and emailed them. This is totally ridiculous!. Absolutely a bad experience.

Coffee maker and microwave in room, were not plugged in to any power source. We move the coffee maker to the bathroom to plug in, but the coffee maker itself was broken and did not work. The hot tub was only half full if water and was cold. We were not told by front desk it wasn’t working, nor was there any sign on the point door to notify guests of this.

This hotel is in bad shape there IS NO exercise room the jacuzzi was broke the door latch to one of our rooms was broke off there was trash in the plant pots rather then plants spilled milk was put out for breakfast the hair dryer outlet was damaged the heat light was damaged the tub was brown
