Quality Inn

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This is an older, 2-story hotel that fairly recently became a Quality Inn and has been nicely renovated. All rooms (from what I could tell) have doors facing outside. There is no elevator from what I saw. It appeared that all rooms run perpendicular to the main road so there was no noticeable road noise. The room and carpeting were very clean, the furnishings were in pretty good shape and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but that's pretty typical for many mid and low priced hotels. This was the main reason why I give it a 4 instead of a 5 rating. We did try the breakfast so I can't comment on it here. Overall, given the room rate, it was a pretty good value. We were quite happy with our experience here and would have no concerns about staying here, again.

While driving to Texas, I needed a place to rest for the night that was cheap and quiet. This hotel met my expectations by offering a low rate and a good quiet clean room. Nothing fancy but the hotel offered everything I needed. The hot breakfast was good and tasty. The hotel also offered a computer connected to the Internet which was very helpful for me.

This is a decent hotel. We are going to arrive much later than expected and they were very accommodating and friendly. We had a downstairs room request, which they provided. Very friendly desk attendant. Clean and would stay here again for sure.

Unfortunately, I found great reviews of this place here at Trip Advisor but my experience was somewhat less than favorable. Our room was non-smoking but the smell of smoke from other rooms was evident in ours, and it was overwhelming. In addition, the local restaurant which is next door was apparently having a club night when we checked in. Their patrons were loud, obnoxious and unruly. They were monopolizing the parking spots and we were lucky to get the last open spot. The management needs to TOW these unauthorized vehicles. The interior of the room was old and needs to be updated badly. On the upside, the room did have a good coffee maker, a LARGE mini fridge (we are cheap travelers so this was great), a good microwave and the room was clean (except for the smell). We paid $87 (before taxes) and I would NOT pay that again. If I could get it for $55 of $60, I would consider it. What I have learned from this experience is that Hot Springs is only 25 minutes away, and they have a much nicer offering of affordable accommodations. I will be staying there next time we make this trip!

Excellent hotel! Was very clean and comfortable. Two large queen beds, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was great. Hot eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy and sausage. Would recommend. Free wi/fi too.

We stopped here for a quick overnight on our way to Austin Texas. The room was perfect for an overnight hit the hay. They knew we had a dog, so put us toward the back so we could easily run in and out with her. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, And everything worked well. The best part was the shower. My husband grades our stays based on whether the shower is in drippy mode, or a sand blast. It definitely was the latter and was perfect. Also my husband had fallen once and broken ribs and had internal hemorrhaging from a fall in a motel shower. This had some traction on the bottom of the tub as well as grab bars. Also the customer service was excellent. We arrived late and were steered to the front of the line because we had reservations. It took maybe two minutes to check us in.

Stopped here for a quick overnight on our way to Houston. We were a late check in but the staff was very friendly. Room was clean and had enough room for us to set up a pack and play. Hot breakfast in the morning. Food was good (standard hotel breakfast items). Seating was a little limited.

I checked into this property at the last minute. My first impression was not the best. The exterior was not the best and the trash can out front was overflowing. I gave it a chance since I was staying without family with me and the price was relatively cheap. I don’t usually like the motel properties (room doors open to parking lot). However when I got in the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was a spacious clean room. The bath room was a bit small but I liked that the sink was outside of the shower area. I didn’t have to worry about the foggy mirror. The shower water was strong, shower head higher than 6foot. The breakfast was better than expected with sausage, biscuits, gravely, fresh fruit, yogurts, waffles etc. Was well worth the price. My wife doesn’t like the rooms where doors open to parking lot but if I am passing through alone again, I’ll stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, and not covered by good smelling deodorants, but really smelled natural clean. Breakfast was very good, with great selection Front desk was friendly and helpful. Would use again.

We stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The pool was awesome!! Breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly. Great location. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone.
