Got to be honest. I like Holiday Inn Express. They are fairly consistent. You know what you are getting. Not much to say. It's an older HOI that has been recently refreshed. Lobby area and breakfast area are nice. The computer and scanner worked just fine. (Didn't have all those stupid security softwares that HOI usually puts on there that makes it difficult to scan a document to a thumb drive). The room was nice. The hallway on the second floor needs repainted. I have no recollection of the internet speed, which means it was fine. (Slow speeds REALLY annoy me!!). Pool was outdoor. It should have been indoor. Overall, not so bad.
They have made upgrades to the entire hotel. The bathrooms look completely remodeled with new ceramic tile, sink, counters and shower/tub enclosure. Our room also had a new mattress and the A/C was charged and cold. Very welcomed experience for a hot July stay. My only regret is that we didn’t take time to check out the pool, which looked clean and inviting. The continental breakfast includes a pancake maker, which is different than most hotels. Hats off to Charlton the GM for taking care of us personally. Excellent customer service.
We're here with our baseball team. The rooms are nice, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the air works good, the shower has good pressure, the breakfast was decent, and the staff is really good. Would highly recommend!
After a dismal experience at the Arlington in Hot Springs, the Holiday Inn Express in Hope was like a breath of fresh air! From the time we popped in to see if an early check in might be possible to the time we left, everything was top drawer. The place is immaculate. The staff is friendly and really helpful with directions. The beds are comfy. The breakfast the next morning was everything we wanted and more. And it is reasonably priced. Holiday Inn Express-Hope met and exceeded our expectations.
It is getting an update, which it really needed. It seemed outdated and not to the standard of the other HIE I have stayed at. There are some neat features to the updates that I liked. Expect some noise as they update, but honestly it wasn't bad at all. Not the best HIE I've stayed at, but it's still good. The Hampton is right nearby and honestly I'd probably stay there over this one.
Stopped in here after an extra long day on the road en route from Cincinnati. Check in was seamless, room was in good shape, and close and convenient to local restaurants and cheap gas. Breakfast buffet was better than average.
It started off a tad shaky because we got our key and went into our room. It smelled musty and I told my friend we needed to go see if they had another room. We did and were immediately given a new room. this was a vast improvement on the first room. It was freshly painted and had a "brightened" look and no smell. We were very pleased. There was a half sized fridge, microwave and lots of space. I wa really glad we asked for a pre room. The staff was exceptionally friendly - everyone wanted to talk. I think that is a bonus The breakfast - remember there is no kitchen so just about everything comes out of a box. We were there two nights and I finally decided I liked the fresh fruit ( bananas) with oatmeal and a yogurt. If a bagel was still available I got that and added the cream cheese spread and a jam. I was very happy with my room and the breakfast( once I knew what to expect). I would definitely sty here again. I have had really great luck with this hotel in the past and their streak continues. You cannot beat friendly people.
Very friendly staff that does their best to accommodate very comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast definitely would recommend staying here for anyone business or pleasure We left something in our room that was very quickly mailed to us before we even missed it
Not the greatest Holiday Inn, hotel is old, one elevator, currently not working, and rooms are dated. My shower has a jacuzzi tub from 1970. The room is okay I guess, standard room with Keurig coffee in room.
This is a comfortable, clean, well kept Holiday Inn. The staff is friendly & welcoming, rooms clean and in complete working order. Breakfast hot & delicious. Beds comfortable and clean. Worth a stop after a long day of travel!
