What a diamond in the rough. Reminded me of Anne of green gables. We had no idea it was in a historical home or town. So we were pleasantly surprised and had such a fabulous time! We wanted to stay longer but unfortunately it was booked already so we had to leave. If they ever sold the house I would buy it in a heartbeat beat. If you love history/ historical and peaceful quiet places. THIS is it! The hosts are amazing and left us fresh made scones! (I might have are the entire plate) our kids even loved it! They loved the antique style beds and feel! We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Owners are gracious and kind, baked homemade treats like banana bread and AMAZING scones, and the house was neat, quiet, and clean. The only thing that wasn’t ideal is that there were no doors on the bedrooms leading out into the living room, so not much privacy for those who would need it. It didn’t matter to us, because it was just myself, my sister, my daughter, and my niece. The other thing that might present an issue to others coming, is that there is no way to hook up modern television things like fire stick, Apple TV, etc. Again, this did not bother us, but might bother some. Other than that, it was fantastic! Communication with the owners is stellar, and there were numerous personal touches throughout the house. They provided everything we needed, including soap, shampoo and conditioner, kitchen items, etc. The porch has a nice swing on it, and it is right next to a very nice state park. We highly recommend, and will likely be back in future. Very peaceful and quiet. Very small town, so be prepared with what you need, or you will need to go to Hope, AR, for the nearest grocery store. We absolutely loved our stay and my daughter loved her birthday celebration. 😁
