Wow, this is a 3 star property. Everything is old and run down. Food was good but the Bajan service is really hit & miss with crusty lazy at one end and friendly at the other. You really just didnt know ehat to expect from one staff to the next.

I would this resort because it is close to everything. I love that they offer all the water activities for free. One thing I wasn't crazy about is the fact you have to make reservations every night for dinner in advance.

Bathrooms a little dated but excellent food location and services.

Ok hotel food was a little boring but hotel is clean and well kept

Wh decided on a whim to take a quick trip to Barbados for a little R&R. The Club Barbados is a very comfortable hotel. Although it's not directly on a sandy beach it is literally a 15 second walk to an amazing beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return again.

Just got back last night. It was a relaxing vacation. We were there from Dec 8-17. Our first full day rained out. It was very disappointing and depressing. The Club Barbados is not a 4 star resort by any means,I don't think it's even a 3 star. The hotel is not too bad as far as the location is concerned, service, quality of food (not much variety in food) etc. The resort is old and is looks and feel outdated. The resort does not have a beach anymore. Water levels are rising in Barbados and as such lot of the beaches in lot of the hotels does not exist if the tides are high, you have to walk to public beach outside of resort. Club Barbados is one of the victims of Mother Nature. What we have noticed that the resort is attracted to couples 65+. Majority of the guest (75%) were older. Not many young couples. Some were coming back for last 14 years. The resort is for adults only, so no kids running around, or splashing in the pool nice and quite. No entertainment at all at this resort during the day. You can sign up for morning walk, or cooking lessons on certain days. Live local band will play every night from 8-11 pm while people mingle by the bar or sitting in groups talking. They have 3 small pools next to each other with a bar by the dining area (not in the pool) which is very inconvenient if you want to enjoy a drink while you are in the pool. No pool side service available for drinks so you have to get out of the pool to go get a drink. Food not available round the clock like most resorts neither they have much variety. Breakfast start at 6 am until 10 am and if you decide to sleep longer and missed breakfast you have to wait until lunchtime (at moon) to get any any kind of food. Breakfast is same everyday without any kind of change. Lunch is same always except for one meat item. Either it will be chicken, pork, or beef. Food is tasty but it was same stuff everyday. Between lunch and dinner you have the option to order a wrap or sandwich at the bar. Dinner was an ordeal at times. They have only 2 restaurants one of which is your buffet restaurant converted into Al carte restaurant. Sunset and Enid's restaurant. Enid's is only serving only Bajen food. I always preferred buffet as the service is extremely slowwww when you order from the. It would take us literally hour and 40 for the full course. We always ate out when it's not a buffet. You do require reservation everyday for dinner even if you are eating at the buffet or they will not allow you to eat that night at the hotel. Only 2 bars at the resort. One on the use to be beach side and other close to pool. Pool side is open until 11pm. If you are still in mood to drink you have to go to piano bar which is open until 2 am. Resort is located in nice quite area. Public transpiration is very easy access outside the resort. Thirty minutes to Bridgetown in public bus. Overall it was an "OK" experience. I will never ever go to Club Barbados again.

Should only be 3 stars hotel. Miss leading about the beach. There are a lot of rocks and sand mixed with shells. Hotel did not mention that there was no elevator so I booked the loft ocean view on the 4th floor which I had trouble to walk up. The room was so old and needed renovations. Finally, they gave me the room with garden view on the 3rd floor. The buffet for bf and lunch were very limited but the diner at Enid's restaurant was good. The staff was very nice except they locked me out of the room after 9 am. I do not want to come back to this hotel next time.

Staff was great, food was great. As a previous guest wrote the bartenders need to be more versed or trained in preparing cocktails. The downside is the beach. We were unable to use the beach affiliated with the hotel

The room was old with the headboard in need of painting or replacement, just like the other furniture. The shower water ran on the floor of the bathroom to the bedroom. I reported the water/ shower problem twice and the attitude was ok! after informing the water caused me to slip and the bathroom door prevented my falling, someone was interested, Security was sent to take a report of my slip/ no fall? I showed him that evening, mind you this happened before breakfast and water on floors taken care of by then. No one came to fix the shower problem. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in, the drinks just ok and look forward to the same restaurant for 98% of your meals.

for the most part we were very pleased. there are a few things that need work. the bar situation was mediocre at best. I realize that at an all inclusive resort you won't get premium alcohol and that is fine but most of the bartenders were not capable of making a proper drink. All that is needed is a little but of training. I can't tell you how many drinks had one sip taken and then were thrown out. The food was ok. Breakfasts and lunches were fine. Dinners were mediocre at best. We did take advantage of the $300 coupons for local restaurants and had two awesome meals at the Tides and Daphnes. The water sports that were included were great. We went sailing and on the motor boat a couple of times and used the snorkeling equipment a few times. The piano player in the piano bar was wonderful. One of the highlights of our trip. The evening entertainment from 8 - 11 was not good at all. The staff was great as was our room. Overall we had a very nice time. I would recommend this to someone with a proper explanation of some of the limitations. For the money it was a pretty good deal.

This was our first time visiting Barbados. We live in Pennsylvania (in Feb), so we decided to go somewhere warm. Little did I know....Barbados is the most beautiful place on Earth! The weather is perfect! As far as The Club goes...it was perfect as well! The staff was absolutely amazing! The food was great, and the experience overall was excellent! If we must discuss something negative, I'd have to say the ONLY complaints I came home with are #1: the bed was hard and my boyfriend slept in the crack all week #2: the staff feels it's necessary to use a leaf-blower and/or "weed-wacker" every single morning. I'm a night person, so that really irritated me. I would definately return to the Island and The Club! Next time it will be for 2 weeks! ENJOY!
