Go all inclusive is my recommendation. I have visited some 97 countries . God knows how many hotels. I found the staff all the staff the best I have experienced. The restaurants are excellent. Food second to none. All cooked for you in the way you want it.
We have a stayed there for 5 days. The room was exellent, the people were friendly and serviceminded, the garden and the pool were good places to take a sun bath and to swim. Breakfast, many choises about local and international food. Shuttle bus service to Hoi An Old Town who is worth a visit. Only one negative comment, one night the shuttle bus forgot to pick us up, so we have to take a taxi back to Sunrise.
Came with my husband and 1 year old baby, and my parents. An excellent hotel with 2 pools- one is MASSIVE! There is a big baby section which is well cordoned off the big pool too. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Restaurant and pub were great and staff were brilliant and very accommodating with our baby. There’s a lovely playroom where there is always a member of staff. You can leave your kids there with them if you want. The journey from the airport is around an hour and to Hoi an town it’s about 20 minutes. Taxis are cheap or the hotel has a shuttle bus. We all had an amazing time here and I would fully recommend this hotel. When we go again, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Sunrise Premium Resort!
This resort is well appointed, with amazing outdoor pool and bar areas. The rooms and lift were a bit musky smelling, however it was only one week after a major flood. The food was fantastic (and cheap) and the staff at this resort were exceptionally friendly, polite and efficient.
This hotel was a lovely surprise in as much as everything is exemplary. The staff, food, rooms, decor, comfort and service provision. I would thoroughly recommend a well deserved break at this lovely hotel. I will definitely be coming back
Original recommendation from Luxury Escapes. Completely satisfied with the package. Six nights at the Sunrise Premium Resort Hoi An was excellent and we could not fault the experience. Excellent presentation of the Resort, great customer service, very comfortable suite (3014). The main pool was closed for maintenance for most of our stay, bte re-opend two days before our leaving. The resort made alternate arrangements for guests to use facilities at a neighbouring resort and offered additional discounts on food and beverage for the inconvenience. I would certainly recommend the Sunrise premium Resort at Hoi An, and would love to go back again at some stage in the future.
The staff and food were excellent, the room and bed were good. We spent 6 days at the resort, and although we don't usually holiday at resorts this worked well for us; we divided our time between day and night trips into Hoi An (great for wondering/coffee/night markets), spa treatments, local tours, swimming in the pools, lounging and cocktail hour. Very pleasant stay.
While this hotel is located on the sea, it is not immediately adjacent to the beach, although there is a small beach adjacent to the resort for the use of hotel guests. We stayed here for 6 nights as part of a Luxury Escapes package, which was very good value for money. Even though we had the "basic" room, it was very well set up, with a walk-in rain shower, king size bed, and separate sitting area and office desk arrangement. The bed had quality Egyptian linen and was very comfortable. The wifi worked well. Our package included breakfast and one other 3-course meal (you could choose lunch or dinner). We always chose dinner, as the breakfast buffet is quite extensive and with the hot weather, eating in the middle of the day is not attractive. The Spice garden restaurant was our favourite because it specialised in Vietnamese dishes. Make sure you have the green mango salad and Vietnamese pancakes delicious!! The main pool was under renovation while we were there, but the lap pool was fine, because there were not too many people staying during our visit. Generally, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The one exception was the spa manager who seemed to think that because we had vouchers for the use of the spa, we were below her dignity. The quality of the 3 massages that I had was not very good, except for the last one, which was a Swedish massage and done very well. There is a free shuttle into Hoi An Old Town, which runs approximately hourly. You book at reception (and I understand bookings are essential when the hotel is busy, which thankfully it was not for our stay). You can also use the hotel bikes to check out the surrounding areas.
I highly recommend a stay at Sunrise. The staff are just so friendly and helpful and the facilities, especially the pool are the best. We had many spa treatments there which were some of the best I have ever had. I would also have to say that the buffet breakfast we had each day was unreal. Rooms very clean and had everything we needed. We have now stayed there 3 times and would be happy to stay again in the future.
We spent five nights here after a few days in Cambodia and prior to Saigon. On arrival we were given a room with a poor view. We asked to relocate to a sea view room and this was done for us. We were surprised to have been given this first room when the hotel was so empty. The main pool was under refurbishment but as the hotel was not busy this did not effect us. The small pool by the beach was lovely. Room was clean with such a comfy bed!! Breakfast was nice. Nice fresh bread. You have to book the shuttle bus into town and back but as the taxi was cheap. Approx 100000 dong (£3) we did that. We ate in the hotel one night but we found the Vietnamese restaurant opp the hotel just lovely and a fraction of the price!! Hoi An is just delightful!!! We loved to wander the streets and see the lanterns! Nice hotel. Quiet location. Good for some r and r!!
