Room was spacious but dated. We ended up switching room after the first day due to loud jackhammer and contruction noises. They down graded our room to a smaller room when we paid for a bigger room but we were ok with it because it was quiet. Breakfast was good although did not have many choices as other hotels. Staff was not friendly and usually does not have a smile on their faces except for an older gentleman that was always by the door. During check out, they made a HUGE mistake and said a small towel was missing in our room & need to charge us. I said we did not take any towels. We are from America and we have plenty of towels. Taking a towel or anything from a hotel has never entered our mind. My husband got upset and asked them to go ahead and go through our luggages (while our Grab ride was waiting outside to take us to the airport). The check out lady said "no I did not accuse you of taking the towel". Then why do you want us to pay for the towel? After we got upset then they said housekeeping has found the towel so we now can go. Then she ask if we were satisfied with the hotel and the service. I replied "we were until now". We left and flew to Phu Quoc island for 9 days then came back to Ho Chi Minh for 5 days before flying back to America. We booked at Hotel Nikko Saigon. It's a little more expensive, but definitely worth the money. Staff was very professional and eager to help. Hotel is gorgeous with many amenities & it connects to a mall which is very nice.
