I stayed for 5 nights here and it was a lovely experience. The room itself was clean and had a beautiful view of the main road. The staff were friendly, energetic and helpful. Check in time was around 2pm but the staff allowed us to check in at around 8am without further fees. The breakfast buffet catered plenty of food and a variety of options; fruit, pastries, cold and cooked meats, dairy products etc. The location is ideal but the main road was loud at night. It was a little loud due to being on a main road and being around News Years time. It really makes me wonder why there are such negative reviews due to my stay here being brilliant. Will definitely bring coming back here upon my next visit to HCMC.
I went saigon palace with my hú ❤️ we had romantic dinner 😘 Buffet at Bong sen company is so good, foods are delicous with a lots choices for everyone. Specially, waiters are friendly and helpful for us, take care us whenever 😊 Price is good, about 399k/per ! I think it’s a best choice for everyone
This is for their restaurant Calibre. Pretty terrible service. I was about to have lunch with my friends, I wanted to go upstairs as it has a better view. However, although it was air-conditioned, smooking was allowed without notice. The staffs should have told me that it allowed smoking, otherwise I would sit there and order almost 400 000 VND of food and drinks. I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes so I asked to be moved out or something. They asked me to a room that was dark and ugly and just like a pig
I've got a room without a view. The furniture is a little dated but the breakfast is generally good with a mixture of local and the standard fare. The hotel is located in District 1 which is generally is a good location. About 10mins walk to the City Hall to your right and about 10-15mins walk is the Saigon River
While doing a trip around Vietnam, I had booked in advance 3 days in Ho Chi Minh at this hotel for a Deluxe Room and what happened was that I was put in a bedroom without any kind of view and side by side with the staff of the Hotel. This means that it's impossible to have confort with all the speaking between them and also the transportation cars they use for luggage and other heavy things. I had complained about it and the answer was simply that they could not do anything and the hotel was fully booked. In my humble opinion this is a shame because with the price I had paid for this "Deluxe" Room would had paid a hostel for a month in better conditions. Thank you
Stay for 2days. Family with 2 kids. I booked 2 rooms with bathtub and window. To my suprise, window was facing the elevator and no bathtub for both rooms we got. They changed but one window facing those air compressor and another one dont know facing where but with bathtub. 1st night was terrible as one of the room air condition is not cold enough and with sound. Tell reception to have a service but it seems not help at all. 2nd night the same. Breakfast is ok if u are not choosy. No doubt that the location is very good but there are alot more good hotel around this area.
We had 1 nite here after long trip back from Muine. No welcome drink was invited then straight to our room. Furniture is dated. Pillows were torn. Breakfast just normal choices even no named on the foods. Reception staff were nice enough, waitress were not focus to clear the table even we called, they gathered with group and ignored us. Good location but not good quality hotel. Will come back Saigon but not this one.
The location of the hotel is excellent, balcony overlooking the city center is great. The hotel is desperate need of a make over. The rooms are outdated. I originally was booked in standard room and upon checking in I paid to upgrade to the Palace Suite room which had a spa. This suite had plenty of room. The staff at the hotel try their best to accommodate guests, just lacking in skills somewhat. The gym is a joke and the pool ( well, not that appealing). Forget the breakfast, looks and tastes like crap.
The Palace is well situated in District 1 within walking distance of many of the areas attractions, restaurants, and Tan Dinh markets. The room was adequate without being fantastic,my real grip was the shower over the bath. Now I am 5'7 and the bath comes up to 1" over my knee, so help anyone who is really short or disabled. One warning if you are staying here during the weekend there are usually entertainment etc going on in the square, and the hotel really does not have great sound insulation. I had the misfortune to be facing the front and there were road works going on at 2am. The staff on the front desk were very helpful even when there is a slight language problem, but they do their best and work things out. Buffet breakfast is a mixture of Asian and Western meals and staff are very friendly. Had my first nights meal in their restaurant and it was quite adequate.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights overall. Hotel room was lovely - can't fault that. Clean, tidy and appeared to be a 4* standard. Corridors etc a little shabby and could do with some work. We arrived late at night and had some problems with the taxi from the airport - he was trying to scam us for extra money. The concierge came to our assistance and really did help us; especially when the taxi man tried to come into the hotel to steal our bags! He was lovely throughout stay and helped us when needed. The rest of the staff did not appear the same. Their manner was often considered rude, they did very little to help. Felt a little like an inconvenience if we asked anything. Location great - nice area of Ho Chi Minh and everything in walking distance. Ok stay but wouldn't stay again.
