"Pros: TLDR Great property, very clean, thoughtful touches, nice pool. Great location! Details The hotel itself is beautiful, well-kept, with thoughtful touches like an ice cream station, filtered water stations and more. The beds and linens were great, pillows not too soft, and towels were soft. The pool area was very well maintained, as was the pool. There were plenty of shady areas to escape the sun while still enjoying the outdoors. Great downtown location for walking to local shops and restaurants. Cons: TLDR The check in staff oversold the breakfast. Paying for parking is unnecessary. Wasn’t told you have to manually lock hotel room doors. Details We were exhausted from driving in, so I caved and spent the extra $40/day for the resort fee, but could’ve easily saved my money. That fee included breakfast, which was nowhere near the gourmet spread that was described, parking, which was absolutely not needed (plenty of street parking!) plus we were told to park in the back but you can’t enter the hotel from the back so that was annoying. Resort fee also includes WiFi, but we were never given the password (I’ll let that slide since I could’ve asked for it, but I didn’t bother). Probably the most important detail that was left out though is that YOU MUST MANUALLY LOCK YOUR DOOR. We definitely left our room door unlocked the first day, and thank goodness it’s a safe area. Basically, I’d just like to be a better informed about these things at check-in."
