We arrived at this property for a family weekend away. On entering, the property appeared clean however there was a constant bleeping noise which was soon found to be the smoke detectors. This was reported immediately to the host with no initial response and after contact with both the host and Vrbo this situation was not resolved for our entire stay. Not only was this incredibly annoying but there is a safety aspect to consider here as well.Further more the oven was filthy with dirty, greasy trays in it. The small indoor food caddy was dirty with left over bits of food in it. There were no basic supplies for guests. Although there was half a jar of pasta sauce going mouldy in a kitchen cupboard.The lock on the downstairs toilet was faulty resulting in my son getting stuck in there.The carpet in the first floor ensuite bedroom was clearly not hoovered and had multiple stains on it . The shower did not drain properly.I could go on but won't. This is could be a nice house with some TLC and a host that responds to problems without the need for videos of a bleeping smoke alarm and photographs of other issues. I have never had such poor customer service.
