The room was clean and pretty big. The way the shower is configured is bizarre and left water on the floor after every shower. The most frustrating part was going to the restaurant to have dinner and being told they couldn’t take anymore reservations in a dining room that only had 4 full tables. The host told us to order room service, and then no one at the restaurant or front desk answered the phone for the next two hours.

Nice clean room. Left a folded white top on a clean unused towel in the wardrobe and sadly it was removed for the laundry....informed not possible to return.

Lack of staff manners and customer service

It was Just Ok, reception and some staff could have been more friendly, sour faces or completely ignored by majority of staff. Example; 1)asked for boom gate exit code after it being open the previous day, handed me the code without even looking up, just bad manners.2) passed several staff around the hotel and not responding in any way after wishing them "Good Morning " 3) Bar staff, not a smile or welcome at dinner. these customer interactions make a difference. Family weekend

Staff were great, especially in restaurant and reception. Room was very large and comfortable beds. No AC in room, was ok but a little warm, would be uncomfortable on a hot day. Hotel is very large and our room was quite far, this was actually good for us as our young kids loved running around! Those who may not be able to walk as far should make sure to request a closer room. Was a little disappointed to not be able swim when we wanted to without a booking for the pool, but we did get slot before we checked out, so worth knowing that in advance. Not much around, definitely need a car. Overall a good experience and was good value.

dusty, dirty, old and tired.

The stay overall was ok, we were hoping for slightly better than a premier inn but that was not the case. Check in was easy and positive, we realised that the hotel was very large. We arrived at our room which was a good size and the bed was comfortable however they were the only good things about it. There was no drinking water provided or any drinking glasses for tap water, 2 mugs were provided. The carpet was stained in places and extremely tired. The privacy sheer curtains had mould in places. The lamp on the desk had a massive stain on it and the desk didn’t look like it had been thoroughly wiped down. The bathroom looked clean on the surface but upon further inspection it needs a good scrub, there was dirt on the tap and on the shower gel dispenser( which we didn’t not use). The grout and tiles have not been deep cleaned in ages! The whole room looked like it could do with a deep clean- dusty, dirty, old and tired. Overall that’s how I would describe the hotel. Do not bother with the breakfast it is not worth £13. Low quality meat, cheap vegetables, terrible coffee. I’d expect more for the money. We only upgraded to having the breakfast as we were going to a wedding and wanted food before and the next day - it was a regret. The hotel facilities were also ok, pool was nice but also very tired and screaming out for a re-tile and deep clean. I think that when it was first build it must have been a nice hotel but now is dirty and tired. Staff were nice.
