The hotel's cleaniness, room size and staff are what you'd expect from a Japanese hotel in this class. Strange and not pleasant were two issues: 1. Upon check-in we were conditioned to paying a 300 yen "public bath" tax (I'd guess the onsen use tax), although we clearly told them we would not be interested in its use. We were told all hotel guests were required to pay that tax. 2. The air in the room was damp and stuffy and the only way to refreshen it was by turning on the (rather noisy) air conditioning system; which in fact was only recirculating the air.

It si very close to JR Himeji station. You can cross over Nikko hotel Himeji and don't need to round the street. There are a big market, Pantry in building of station. Food is cheap and you must taste akashiyaki in Grand FESTA.

Overall satisfactory except for check-in hiccup. Couldn't locate my booking resulting in half hour delay in checking in. Also unable to issue more than one room card creating inconvenience as access to female spa is via room card.

お世話になりますありがとうございました。お風呂が温泉で、露天風呂が最高でした。しかし、冷水の紙コップが補充されていないし、ホテルで紹介されていたロビーのコーヒーサーバーなく、お部屋のお茶？インスタント珈琲セット？などもありませんでした。 お部屋のキーカードが一枚しかなく、何かと不自由でした。立地早いしまたつかいたいとおもいますが、今回不自由だと思った件どうぞ見直し宜しくお願い致します。
