Nice clean room. Near to JR station, Himeji Castle. Food were easily accessible including Starbucks. Department stores nearby. There was a fresh supermarket nearby too. Friendly staff. Convenience stores available.
rooms small with every thing and very clean. Good location easy walk to station, near big shopping center Easy walk to Himeji Castle and Zoo.No phone in room but fridge ,jug ,tea making gear.stayed for a week
Good location at a walking distance from the train station and also from the castle, it is a tiny accomodation but clean and with some restaurants not far away (the town is not big though, so everything is relatively close). Good value for money.
Great location only 5 minutes to JR station. Restaurants, stores etc all nearby and 15 minutes walk to castle and next door garden (get the combined ticket). Minimal English at reception but fine. Everything comfortable. TV, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, night gown, amenities. My room faced the apartment building next door and a bright light shone around the curtains, so limited that with some ingenuity. Some street noise early but soon quiet for the 2 nights I was there. I stayed a 2nd day to go up Mt. Shosha which was great. Recommended.
We only stopped for one night in Himeji, so this sort of hotel, non-descript and cookie-cutter-ish, was just fine. The rooms were spotless, if small and somewhat charmless. For one night at a great price, this suited us just fine. The added bonus of an inexpensive self-serve laundry room on our floor was great. Great location about 10 mins from the train station and 20 mins from the castle.
Little hotel very near to everything you'll need within walking distance; shopping, food, restaurants, sights. Bon Marche grocery store is awesome! The Daiso store is right above it, access through Bon Marche. Rooms are small but clean. We had a microwave in the room since there isn't a restaurant on site. Elevator is a little slow. There is a small laundry room. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
Very convenient and clean hotel close to Himeji JR Station. The personnel is kind, even if not all of them speak English. The room and the toilet were small but cozy, the bed was about 1.20m width. I would recommend it for the price.
Although the name of this hotel suggests it's in front of the station, it in fact isn't as such. To get to it, you need to take the central exit from the JR station in the direction of Himeji castle. You should walk down on the left side of the road until you reach 7-11 and turn left. Then, turn left again at an Italian pizzeria. The hotel is then on your left a few metres further down. The rooms at the hotel are modern, but quite small. The bed I had was a smallish double bed, but the room comes equipped with a wide desk, television, large wardrobe, fridge, microwave, kettle, sink unit presumably for washing dishes, hairdryer, table lamp, clock, LAN Internet, WiFi and a typical Japanese bathroom with a rather steep step down to the bedroom but which includes body soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is also aircon with a rather ify remote control that doesn't allow setting the temperature and only allows readings from 1 to 5. 5 seems to be coolest. I doubt whether you could really keep cool in the Summer months though. There is a launderette on site and the reception desk is pleasant enough where there are also vending machines. There are also some information leaflets in the lobby. You can't see out through the wwindows and therefore a prolonged stay might be rather claustrophobic. The hotel is conveniently located for the castle, train and bus stations and all shops and restaurants. It is an acceptable place to stay in Himeji for just a few days
The hotel is located near Sanyo Himeji Station (don't mix it up with JR Himeji Station, although they are less than 5 min walk away from each other). Everything in the hotel looks new & clean. Other than the fridge, they also provide micro-wave oven, induction cooker & a washing basin in the room! However, the room is a bit too small that you can hardly turn your body or even place your luggage. I think it is OK to stay for 1-2 nights, or else I prefer a hotel with larger rooms. The reception staffs may not be able to speak too much English but they are very nice & helpful.
This hotel is around 10 minutes walk from the JR Himeji station and just 3 minutes walk to the bus station. This is the last hotel in our 9 day trip to Kansai region in Japan. As with other Japanese hotel, staff are nice and friendly. Room is clean with good wi-fi reception but room is really cramped and has a smaller double bed which me & my wife just fit in and if one moves you'll hit the other. Don't know if they have a bigger room. The hotel is close to all amenities, there is a big shopping mall, Piole, beside the train station just across the bus station. There are heaps of restaurants and a Bon Marche supermarket which sells cooked food too. You can take a shuttle bus directly to Kansai or Osaka airport from the bus station without having to take the train and around 2 transfers of train stations.
