We stayed in this beautiful home for our family vacation on HHI. Check-in, Check-out and communication with property management were all convenient. The house is just a short walk to the beach. The public board walk and beach mat make it easy to transport all your beach items by wagon/cart down to the beach. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need for your stay. Our family had fun, shared lots of laughs, and made some wonderful memories in this home!!

Easter Break

Our family of 13 had plenty of room in this house. We liked the proximity of the house to the beach and also to stores and restaurants. The heated pool was wonderful for our five grandchildren, who used it everyday since the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped. Only negative, which was not the fault of the owner, was that we were surrounded by construction/renovations. So hammering began at 8 am and lasted all day during our stay.

Perfect house!

Great location, perfect house for our short stay to attend the HILTON HEAD ISLAND CONCOURS d’ELEGANCE! We were able to utilize the garage to put the final shine on our collector car! The house is very comfortable and well equipped!

Location was excellent. Beds were all very comfy, pool was a great bonus. Plenty of room for us all. There were 14 of us ranging from 1 to 67. Wonderful beach week.

Hilton Head Island 2022

Beautiful home, conveniently located within walking distance to beach. Plenty of space for everyone (6) adults and (3) children. Close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely consider renting again.

Family vacation 2022!

From the time we arrived until the day we left, we were treated like family. A basket of homemade cookies and bottles of water were waiting our arrival. Jon checked on us as we traveled and after we arrived to see if we needed anything. The house was beautiful and the walk to the beach short. We would definitely stay here again.

Well equipped house

The house was well equipped for our stay. The kitchen had all the utensils to cook meals. The house was as described. It had a nice open area for the family to gather, a nice pool. We had to call on the property manager twice. In each case he came quickly and resolved our questions. We would stay again

Great location

This property would be great for a family because of the access to the beach--just across the road with a boardwalk and clean restrooms. This was our second year at the property, which is a beautiful building, clean, and large. The property managers are easy to work with. However, it really needs some very basic things that the owners should invest in, specifically: The sectional seating in the main room is beat up and in need of replacement. The buttons on the remote on the tv are broken. There are no blinds or curtains in the master bedroom bathroom, which is wide open to the house next store. We had to hang a towel on a hanger to block the view from the shower. If these things were fixed, we could give the place a 10.

Hilton Head Island Family Christmas

This place was AMAZING! We had a great family Christmas vacation here! House was beautiful, better than the pictures seen online. Large enough for 12 adults and 3 kids. Location was perfect close to everything and we walked right across the street to the boardwalk that led to the beautiful beach. Jon & Donna were awesome! They had snacks waiting for us when we arrived. I had a little trouble punching in the code to enter so I called Jon and he patiently talked me through it. We made wonderful memories here and we’ll definitely be booking this place again! Thanks Jon & Donna! -Sabrina H.

Family Reunion at HHI

Found this property online and booked it in August. Property managers emailed us immediately and answered all my questions. Codes to property were sent in a timely manner and Jon texted us upon our arrival and answered a few more questions. We have never met, but I consider Jon and Donna our friends and will gladly rent 5 Sand Dollar Rd if family gathers at HHI again.

Great location, great place.

This place was perfect for our get together. The location was right off the beach. The private access was conveniently located at the end of the street. The beach wasn’t over crowded because of the private access. The house was clean, ready early, and the kids loved the pool in the evenings after a day at the beach. The property manager was easily reachable, and responded very promptly. We will stay here again. Thanks!

Great location

It’s a great location, easy walk to the beach and we fit 14 people around the dinner table which was perfect for us! There were a couple of drawbacks; the third floor gets considerably warmer than the rest of the house (the property manager did bring us a fan) and the mosquitos in the backyard are terrible!!!!! We tried bug sprays and citronella candles but it was bad!

We had five grandchildren under seven years old so it was so helpful being close to the beach.

Plenty of room for the 12 in our family. Two large closets that were great for pack and plays, and a loft that our three oldest granddaughters loved!
