Stayed 1 night while traveling to Florida from Ct. Great staff and rate. Chose this hotel because it's pet friendly. Room was clean but no shampoo and rug seemed damp. Safe and quiet though.probably wouldn't stay again.
We had two 1 queen bed rooms for one night (2 in one, 1 in the other). The rooms were clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Most importantly the bathroom was clean and well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The a/c unit's fan ran all night (which we loved). This was in a very good location with easy access in and out. It felt very safe. We got an excellent rate for the rooms at $49 each (we booked online well in advance). The front desk clerks were kind and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. We can honestly say that this was the best Motel 6 we have ever stayed at.
This hotel was VERY clean and reasonably priced. We tend to avoid pet friendly hotels due to the obvious but this one was wonderful. No animal hair and no odors. The carpets were clean and non stained. It was conveniently located and the staff was very friendly.
We stopped here at 3 am while passing through on a drive from CT to NC. I must say, I am so happy the Hampton Inn across the street only had a queen room left at 169.- . We decided to try Motel 6...a bit of nostalgia for me from many, many years ago traveling cross country...we got a king room for 84.- . It was everything we needed for a very comfortable few hours of sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room and linens were crisp and clean, in fact, cleaner than some high end hotel chains we've stayed at! Thanks, Tom Bodett, for leaving the light on for us and for a very comfortable, albeit short, stay.
When I can find a room this clean and nice for $59 a night, I'm completely satisfied. The front desk clerks were very pleasant also. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Only coffee in the morning, but hey that's alright by me.
My husband and I stayed at the Hillsville, Virginia Motel 6 mid August. We don't ask for much in terms of amenities when traveling. Clean, safe, and wifi in the guest room is all we need. My husband has to work while we are on vacation so wifi is essential. Upon checking in, he tried to connect to the wifi with no success. It showed only one bar of strength. I visited the front desk to inform the women that we were having trouble connecting and her response was, "it should work". I asked her if anyone has had trouble in that specific room before, and she told me no. My husband tried for the next half hour with no success. We were staying at the last room in the building, 322, which is why I enquired about the specific room. (Thinking a room switch may be a solution). We are from Canada. The data on our cell phones is very expensive when roaming. Because my husband had no choice but to work he had to use a hot spot from his cell phone for internet. We will have an extremely expensive cell phone bill next month because of our Sunday night stay. It's 2017; having a room without wifi is unacceptable. The hotel next to us had a stronger signal strength than the motel 6. We paid for high speed wifi in the room, and we didn't receive it.
This is the best value we've had in years! Our room was $54 and was NOT cheesy. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked with a remote. They had DirectTV and we watched our regular channels. The shower in Rm 130 was backwards (hot on left) but it was clearly marked. Everything seemed clean. I'd stay there again.
We were passing through and needed a place to stay for one night, the staff were friendly at check in and the room was clean. We felt safe and comfortable, would recommend staying here if you need a quick get away from traveling.
What do you expect when you stay at a Motel 6? This facility met what I see as the Motel 6 corporate standards. It was clean, didn't smell stale, and was reasonably priced. I was satisfied with the room, and not disappointed in any way
CLEAN, comfortable, great location. Remodeled motel. The owner is awesome. His hard work shows. I always feel safe here. No trash or broken glass here. Motel sits on top of a hill, nice view. Shoney's Restaurant is a short walk from motel. Other restaurants and TCBY yoghurt, pizza and McDonald's across the street.
