What a beautiful, lovely, romantic getaway cottage. The views were outstanding and the quiet serine. The whole house was tastefully decorated and comfy. The deck and the screened in porch were PERFECT.

We loved this beautiful cabin, which had everything we needed for a long weekend stay - including the use of a washer and dryer! The fact it was pet friendly was mind blowing as it was incredibly clean! Our dogs loved the cabin and watching wildlife from the large windows. We enjoyed exploring the trail right outside the cabin. It was extremely foggy the first night when we arrived after dark. The next morning was foggy and rainy. Not knowing what the area around the cabin looked like, we spent the entire day enjoying the cozy cabin playing board games, cooking and resting. Imagine our surprise when the fog lifted Sunday and we realized we were in a little community of houses! Regardless of the season you visit the set up is absolutely perfect and the privacy made us feel like we were secluded in the woods! I would recommend this cabin for anyone with well behaved dogs! The decor and quality building materials used for this cabin is simply stunning. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the screened in porch due to the cold rain, but could see where it would be perfect in the summer time! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin and letting us unwind with our dogs!

We had a very relaxing weekend on Groundhog Mountain. The rental was exactly as shown in the pictures and has everything you need. Great communication throughout our stay. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!!

Loved it so much we even extended our stay! The Cozy Doe lives up to its name. Would definitely stay here again. Had everything we needed, cooked all of our meals the kitchen was fully stocked, closest grocery store was about 30 mins. It was so clean and spacious, the decor was beautiful and seemed modern and renovated. I loved the 2 kitchen tables, counter space, and pantry/coffee area.Really appreciated the outdoor patio, screened seating area and huge yard. I loved that this was also pet friendly and felt private. The living room area was so cozy and we watched tv there every night. Also loved that one of the bedrooms also has an TV. Everything was well thought out. We didn’t have cell service but the wifi worked well so we didn’t need it. Host was communicative and responded quickly. I would love to come back here.

Great little place we'll out off the way for a quiet long weekend. 35 minutes to either Hillsville or Mount Airey. The pups loved the long walks around the neighborhood and to the creek on the back end of the property. The deer are not intimidated and bountiful. Be vigilant. We go to Hillsville every year. We will definitely stay here again.

This cabin/cottage is lovely! It had everything we needed and was super cozy. The layout is great (room to spread out) and the decor is warm and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - and the coffee bar was great.Cyclist note: entire neighborhood is paved, driveway fits two cars or a car and a trailer. The neighborhood road, straight off the parkway, is winding. A good place to land.

This was our third stay at Cozy Doe. As usual, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very quiet neighborhood and a super clean and welcoming home. I really enjoy the screened in porch for relaxing and reading. I want to commend the owners for the improvements we saw to the exterior of the home. The trellis, landscaping, and the bears really add to the appeal. A lot of places we visit seem to build it…and forget it. Not so with the Cozy Doe!Looking forward to our fourth stay!

Great place!

This VRBO was beautiful and clean. Had no issues with air units which kept the home very cool. The location was convenient off the parkway and close to Mt Airy. We highly recommend this home and would love to go back again.

Girl’s weekend

Very cozy spot with all of the thoughtful little touches. Never wanted for a thing or were bothered by a thing. The location is close to any number of easy day trips, but remote enough to “hide” and just hike around the house.

Great place!

Very cute and comfortable cottage. The owner has done a fabulous job on the remodel. Had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were great, screened in porch was nice.

After visiting Cozy Doe last year, we knew we would return. We love how comfortable and peaceful it is there. This time we were able to enjoy the screened in porch - a great place to relax and while away an afternoon reading. The bed is amazingly comfortable and I even slept in…something I rarely do! The kitchen is well stocked and I enjoy having a coffee bar. I am already looking forward to our next stay!

Peaceful and relaxing

This was our second stay at Cozy Doe. This is the perfect place to stay to get away from all the chaos of everyday life. Whether sitting outside on the deck overlooking the woods or walking the neighborhood, the peace and quiet of the area is just amazing! And then you have the house - so comfortable, very well equipped, extra clean, and a super-responsive manager and owner. We’ll be back again and again!
