The Kanuga is a very quiet place to go on vacation it has a good breakfast…included…clean rooms on a great property close to downtown Hendersonville….they don’t have tv’s in the rooms but there are in common spaces

Check in was easy, food was okay but very expensive for what it was. Room was very small and limited on space. AC did not cool room until much later in the night (3:00am after humidity from shower was gone) Wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people per room. The grounds were very nice and did what we needed (just there to sleep for 1 night) but anything over 1 night we would have transferred resorts.

I must have overlooked the fact that there was no TV in the room not that it's a big deal but I enjoy the chatter in the background. However I did receive an email letting me know there was no TV the day after I could have canceled of which I would have done Had I known I'm sure somewhere in the very fine print they told you that there was no TV. Also the heat was very inconsistent every time I tried to turn up the heat It didn't seem to work I went to the front desk they did something and it worked for a while but when I wanted to turn down the heat it wouldn't go back up Something I don't understand. Also the floors were very dirty You had to have shoes on all the time all the way The day we arrived we were told also that dinner would not be served because there was not enough people Of which we had no idea about I really didn't want to Drive after dark on those mountain roads. You managed okay But as I said we probably would have canceled had I known about some of the amenities. Make sure you read all the very very fine fine print About anything you book another thing with expedia is the fact that they put you in the back furthest room every time

The grounds are nice; however, the room had a terrible musty odor. The bed was very uncomfortable. I am still uncertain why there was a space heater in the room & can’t believe that is ok per code. Check in was efficient & the gift shop was nice.

This lodge is an Episcopal conference center. Everyone is welcome. The lodge is modern & up to date but our room did not face the lake. The proches overlooking the lake may not be available if there is a private meeting. The rooms do not have a TV or microwave oven. It's a nice quiet place if you want to relax, hike or boat. There is a free buffet breakfast which is nice.
