I stayed for one night and the place was immaculate. It h as d a modern new bathroom fitted so that you could actually get the shower water warm before having to step in it. I spent a comfortable night and had a lovely breakfast. All cutlery and plates without watermark, beautiful. Thank you for a great stay.

I booked through a booking website the day before. Very friendly staff on reception. Stayed in a lodge type room - just a little bit tired but very clean. Breakfast was very good - overall 8 out of 10 for the stay

Stayed for one night in this lovely place. Room was perfect, spotlessly clean, nice modern bathroom, with a great shower and lovely big fluffy white towels! Had dinner and breakfast, both were excellent. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed the motel style layout with direct access to individual rooms, no endless corridors! Our room was very nicely fitted out with all the amenities you would expect, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was good and there was ample free parking. The main train station was a few minutes walk, so ideal for a trip to Lobndon.

My wife and I stayed at the Boxmoor on Saturday and Sunday evenings. We were visiting the Harry Potter (which is around 15 minutes by car) and Bekonscot attractions. Hotel is split into three buildings arranged around a courtyard with ample parking. We were in the "Marquee" building, which as it's name suggests has a large permanent looking Marquee at the back for weddings and the like. The evenings we stayed were very quiet, but I suspect that if there is an event on, those particular rooms may be quite noisy. Room itself (22) was quite nice and clean, powerful shower and bath, TV, tea & coffee etc. Standard double bed with a (slightly too hard for me) matress and plenty of cushions and pillows, couple of comfy easy chairs and a big enough table for a laptop and some papers if you happen to be on business. We didn't dine at the hotel, choosing instead a Harvester around 800m away, but if the excellent breakfast is anything to go by, eating there would likely be good. Breakfast was hot, nicely cooked and timely. There's a good choice of cereals, yoghurt and the like, toast, and a decent full English on offer. Staff pretty friendly and helpful. I had a blown bulb in the bedside lamp, which was sorted quickly without any drama. We'd definitely stay again in this hotel, perhaps when Warner Brothers add a few more bits to the Potter tour (which is well worth a visit). If you've got kids, definitely visit Bekonscot, which is around 20 mins away. Superb model village which has a lot of humour built into the attraction.

We stayed at The Boxmoor Lodge with a group of 9 (Walking Group) friends, we had 4 rooms for 2 nights. We received excellent service, the rooms were modern and clean. We ate in the restaurant on one of the nights and the food choice and quality were very good. The car park had plenty of free parking and the hotel is on a bus and train route. We had planned a walk along The Grand Union Canal - the hotel is only a short walk from the canal so it was perfect. We recommend this hotel, especially the staff who made our stay so comfortable.

We stayed at Boxmoor for a family trip to Warner Bros studios. From the moment we walked into the hotel to the moment we left we had a great experience. The rooms were clean with all the amenities you would expect. The service was good & the staff were very helpful indeed. Breakfast was the only meal we had here but it was to a high standard with plenty of choice. As former employees within he hotel trade we would definitely recommend Boxmoor lodge & would stay again if in the area. So much friendlier & personal than staying in one of the bigger chains.

Had an overnight stay while visiting relatives The lodges were clean and comfortable with all the basic essentials on hostess tray Had evening meal here menu usual pub food not much choice for vegetarian or vegan Staff polite and helpful

We stayed here on the 9th August 2019 for friends wedding! We thought the lodges were packed with everything we needed and was very cute! We will be staying here again in the future :) so happy with our choice :)
