The place is so close to the middle of town. It’s super convenient to most things by walking. The breakfast didn’t wow me. Coffee wasn’t good. The staff were friendly but we only really ran into them when we checked in or out. The rooms were not cleaned at all. The floors were super messy. You didn’t want to take your shoes off. The toilet paper holder was falling out the wall. Just looked super dirty on the floor. Dusts. Cockroach pieces. German roach was seen in my room. The tables and cabinet in the room looked disgusting. Just didn’t feel comfortable. Would have been a different experience if more cleaning would have taken place.

The room was dusty and had a musty smell. It had obviously been smoked in although it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The air conditioner smelled of mold. The mattress was very thin and had no mattress protector on it only a thin sheet with stains and holes. The toilet made a strange sound the entire time. Bugs were noted in several areas. The upkeep of the room for a five day stay was entirely on the occupants. We never had a towel change or trash removal we did not take care of ourselves. We requested a room change with no response. 10/10 would not recommend staying here. No one showed to cook breakfast one morning and the available items dwindled as the stay went on. No replacement of items for breakfast or in the room were being taken care of by any staff member. This should have been a pleasant stay for a five day get a way. It was absolutely not a pleasant stay.

Upon arriving to the property, we were greeted with an individual that was completely indifferent to her position. When we arrived in the room it smelled strongly of cleaner. We had to leave the door open to even be able to breathe. When attempting to use the restroom we found that the toilet seat was broken but placed together as if it was not broken. When the front desk was called she assured me she would have the maintenance person there immediately. I informed her we were going to eat in town and she said she would have him go on in and fix it. 2.5 hours later upon returning the seat had not been fixed. I called the front desk but no answer so I walked down. She was on her cell phone talking about rats returning to the hotel. She then had no concern at the fact no one had fixed the toilet. She stated we could use the one in the lobby. Which I said not acceptable. The person that she called to come look at the seat, supposedly again had zero clue what he was doing. I asked if he could just switch it out for another one, like the one in the lobby. Which he didn’t know. They stated there was not an open room. However, 30 minutes later a suite became available for one night only. So we had to move rooms downstairs for one night and then back up stairs the next morning. Not one time during our stay was an apology given nor was there any sort of discount given. Mind you the “suite” just had a tub. Nothing else. The bedding and floor were stained. Never staying here again. RUN!

The hotel is old and could use remodeling. The rates have gone up and the rooms are not up to the quality of the money you pay for them. We were in a pinch this time so we booked here, have stayed here before but it's not our previous place.

Close to all the restaurants and bars. There is a tattoo parlor ABC store and bar across the street. 3 doors down abc store 3 doors down antique shop. The negatives is the hill you have to walk up and down to get every where. Room was good just had hiar in the tub flooring had breaks in planks
