The staff at Hotel Healdsburg is amazing. The hotel public places and pool are lovely. The location on the plaza is fantastic. My only hesitation about this place is that the rooms are quite sparse and feel as though something isn't quite finished. That said, the beds are amazing and I am incredibly picky about that and we even travel with our own pillows--my husband used one of the hotel pillows, which says a lot.

Great hotel in a lovely town. Staff was very helpful and the rooms are great. Some reviews complain about the showers and how the bathroom gets wet but housekeeping comes through in the evening and takes out the wet bathmat so it's really not an issue. Plus they leave cookies! One note, the room description is wrong - the standard rooms don't have tubs but I believe the hotel is working to fix this problem. And don't miss jazz in the lobby on the weekends... can't beat a glass of wine by the fireplace and live jazz!
