Especially good beds, with plenty of room for two persons. Good breakfast with a Nespresso coffee machine. We were there using an offer from VeryChic.com, so room price was reasonable for Paris standards. Nice cafe as neighbours, where you can sit outside in the evening after a day in Paris! Luggage room to leave your bags when checking in early or checking out late. Parking space is limited and not for bigger cars according to reception. The receptionist was hesitant to park my BMW 3 series in it. I ended up parking in a nearby garage at € 15 for 24 hrs.
We have stayed in Paris many times but this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in at this price range. A very pleasant, light interior. Good sized, modern bedroom. Nice breakfast. This hotel is extremely convenient for the metro with easy access to the centre of Paris and to Versailles.
Here for a 3 day business meeting & gather from a colleague it's been refurbished in the last 2 years. I'm on the 4th floor at the front & have a very nice room & good bathroom & great shower. Window/doors open out to the front & slept like a log last night. Would happily stay here with family, but it's a little way from the centre. Very short walk to the Seine & a beautiful park the other side of the river.
The hotel does not look a recently constructed hotel from the outside but has been updated with fresh and modern decor throughout the hotel. It is a bit slightly overpriced for what you get. Maybe because it is Paris as to why it is so expensive. Check in is quick and easy. Staff are polite and friendly throughout the hotel. The hotel Has a pool table downstairs for guests with seating areas too for Web surfing. The pool table then doubles up as the breakfast table in the morning. There is some seating outside too if you would like to enjoy the sun or fresh air. The decor in the room was good and modern. I had a room overlooking the side street, which was nice and quiet. There are rooms overlooking the roundabout which is good for people watching but i also imagine will be noisy! The room is smallish in size and the large bed then makes the room feel even smaller. The Bed was two beds joined together and that is a big No-no for me! I could feel the gap as there was only a thin sheet over it. Not the best nights sleep. The amenities in the room are standard and has a minibar and an espresso machine in the room too. The TV had plenty of channels but worked a bit slow changing channels. This became frustrating after awhile. The bathroom is compact. Toilet right up against the wall (which may not be a bad thing i guess if you ever fall asleep on the throne) and the sink and shower had stylish designs to them. The plughole in the shower didn't work well so it flooded the bathroom! The shower amenities were ok. The breakfast whilst varied in selection was basic. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so take this into consideration when booking. There is a nice restaurant nearby though. One of The lifts wasn't working which made things a bit of a nuisance getting up and down. Fortunately i was on the first floor so not too many steps! Not a bad stay but plenty of other cheaper options and better located if you want to be closer to the attractions.
The website promised a lot as it's very slick and modern with glossy photos of attractive rooms. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed. Standard rooms are on the small side, but for a couple of nights away in business, this shouldn't really be a problem. There's a good storage area which keeps luggage and clothing out of the way. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Fantastic shower in a nice modern bathroom. One odd issue though - a locked mini bar which you have to request the key for! A bit daft unless a child is known to be in the room. Additionally, the air con doesn't cool the room very well. As a result I had an uncomfortably warm night. Breakfast was simple but very good. Fresh pastries, juices, fruits, and cold milk for coffee (a relief for any non-French guests)! Staff are very friendly and you'll be given a very warm welcome. This hotel is good value for money and I'll certainly look to use it again!
The hotel was very convenient to the metro subway trains. It was in a nice area of Paris and there were restaurants, shops, and other places to visit by walking nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There are IPads to use for business purposes.
Stay here for business 1-2 nights a week. The hotel has very friendly staff and the rooms are clean and fresh. The breakfast is extended and the location close to St Cloud, Rolland Garos and Parc de prince makes it an ideal place to stay. Going to the centre of Paris takes the metro 10 close to the hotel
The Hotel ACANTHE is one of those hotel where one feels comfortable. Perfect reception, tastefully renovated rooms, generous breakfast and nice Sports facilities! Ideally located on the edge of Paris and the Bois de Boulogne, the Hotel ACANTHE will also be a heaven of peace to relax with your family or enjoy a romantic week-end. Quite possibly (Certainly) the best hotel in Boulogne and at the gates of Paris. Just stay there, you will love it.
This is a lovely hotel. It's 3 stars by service is brilliant. Staff is excellent. Room was lovely and clean. Would recommend to anyone. Location close to Metro opens the whole Paris for you to explore.
I choose this hotel because of its location close to the place where I had to work. The hotel has been renovated only a year ago and everything looks new and modern (also bathroom, TV, breakfast room, etc.). The room was comfortable but it would have been nice to have a room not facing the street side (traffic noise during the night when the window is open). The breakfast (which is not included in the price) is relatively simple but of good quality and the breakfast room is really comfortable and relaxing with nice decoration. A taxi from the hotel to the airport Charles de Gaul takes about 45-60 minutes and costs about 60 Euro.
