Never Again!

The first room we were guven reeked of weed and cigarette smoke. The walls were covered in cobwebs, and neither the tub nor toilet were clean. The second room seemed better, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The walls dirty with stains and what looked like someone had their feet on it. The housekeeper showing up banging on the door every morning around 8:30 yo ask "Y'all leaving or Y'all staying" didn't make the stay any better. Though we booked two queen beds, we were in a room with two full beds whose coils made for a rough night's sleep.

The check-in staff were great, but the room was not clean at all. Not in a "something was overlooked" way, but in a "no one even attempted to clean this room in several weeks" way. Clearly, the toilet had not been cleaned since the last guest used it, if you know what I mean. Several things were broken. We would have left but were too tired to drive. We booked this location mainly for the breakfast advertised, but there was no breakfast.

We stopped for the night on our way to the beach. The next day after leaving, I began to get blister like bumps all over my hands and arms. they continued to spread for the next several days. It is clear I am covered in bed bug bites. I have never experienced this before and it is horrible. The carpets were so gross we did not take off our shoes.
