Swann’s Way may be my favorite rental place I’ve been to yet. The hosts, Arturo and John, were extremely accommodating, even going as far as to leave a bottle of local maple syrup! The tiny home is beautifully designed and impeccably clean. My favorite aspect by far was the hot tub which is tucked just behind the home amongst the trees. It was so relaxing to be able to go for a warm soak under the stars (though be warned we did hear a pack of coyotes). I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

This tiny house is absolutely adorable. There's plenty of room, very clean, and if you are concerned you may have forgotten something, no worries! It is stocked with anything and everything you may possible need, even for your pet! And the hot tub is an added bonus. Unfortunately, the foliage was early this year and had pretty much gone by, but we will definitely be back next year to catch it. Thank you guys for a great getaway.

Bedding was comfy and the hot tub was clean and hot. The flowers in the yard were very pretty and we appreciated the option to pick veggies from the garden. The location was close to hiking, farms, and restaurants. We anticipated the driveway being steeper than it actually was. We had no problems with our 4 wheel drive vehicle. Guests should be aware that the combo washer/dryer is very small and the counters and cabinets are very cluttered. I suppose it would be great if you needed something but in such a small space we found it a little overwhelming. Couch was more comfortable when opened as a bed but then it also took up a lot of room.

Arturo and John are incredibly thoughtful and attentive hosts. They have considered every possible need and detail in the space. It’s beautiful, homey, and full of personality. The hot tub is a dream. We loved the location. It was easily to get to Woodstock, restaurants, and sightseeing, while still feeling remote and secluded. 10/10 would stay here again!

Quechee Trip

Great tiny home in a great location! The house itself is very well appointed and the hosts were great. They even left a little welcome bag of local products!! Just a few minutes drive to Quechee Gorge, Woodstock, and White River Junction. Plenty of trails and places to explore. Good restaurants and a lot of cool antique shops. Perfect mix of relaxation and fun.

cozy in the trees

A clean and appealing tiny house ideal for a single or two-person stay. We loved the views of peaceful tree-lined hillsides and the abundant natural light. Two sleeping areas include a better-quality sofa bed (unfold onto floor) and a comfortable queen bed with nice linens under the curved ceiling of the loft that feels a bit like sleeping in the cabin of a boat. Smart storage and most amenities typical of a tiny house. Excellent communication and very welcoming vibes from host Arturo. To stay here you should be comfortable with a steep gravel drive and nimble enough for narrow spaces and deep stairs inside. A special little spot convenient to Woodstock, Hartland, and White River.

Cute tiny home

We loved our first stay in a tiny home. It had everything we needed to cook and relax on a getaway weekend. It is situated very close to Quechee, Woodstock, and the neighboring ski resorts. The grounds were beautiful, we loved watching the snow fall in the evergreen trees from the cozy couch. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs as well. The hosts were only a text away for anything needed, we would highly recommend a stay here!

A little slice of nature, we loved it! But cleaning needs to be addressed…

My wife and I stayed here after our elopement, and the space/ setup was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, hot water worked very well, and the cedar hot tub was a dream. Unfortunately, some of the amenities were overshadowed by the lack of cleaning in some areas of the house. There was dust on a few surfaces, but we had the biggest issue with the dishwasher and laundry. the dishwasher pods that we were told to use didn’t remove any food smell from the dishes, and left an oily residue on them, even after I put it through 2 cycles. We had a similar problem with the laundry, the detergent we were told to use didn’t remove any bad smells. I believe a dog stayed with the tenants before us and although the sheets were clean, they had a dog smell that we had to get rid of. In addition, the shower needed a scrub, as it also smelled. We ended up going to the store to get proper cleaning supplies and just did it ourselves, which unfortunately took up a good amount of time during our short stay. The space is so wonderful and there was a lot of love that created that little home, but I wish it was properly supplied and kept, so its beauty can shine through.

Cozy tiny house stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the tiny house! It is a great location just a 15 minute drive from downtown Woodstock. Arturo and John were excellent hosts. The little welcome gift bag was very thoughtful. The tiny home was a perfect size for the 2 of us and our cat. It was the perfect midway location from our home in MA and our excursions to Burlington & Stowe.
