Stayed here for work, i have stayed in plenty of hotels worldwide for work/pleasure and this is easily the worst i have ever stepped foot in! My room...floor was falling apart, stains all over the walls, NO LOCK ON THE DOOR, and best of all the shower didnt work whatsoever. I have attached photos for proof of all. Its a shame because the ladies who work there are very nice and as helpful as they can be but unfortunately seems like their bosses have no intention of customer service or investing any type of money. Strongly advise do not stay i had the pleasure of seeing two of their rooms. The entrance itself is bad enough so you get the picture of this one.
this was the greatest kip i ever had the misfortune to stay in.went to bar and was told it is closed over 2 years. we had 2 rooms booked.only 1 bare bulb in each.no bedside lockers.musty smell. asked to be put in different rooms but told hotel was full .funny that as only i other for breakfast.redeeming factor 2 nice girls served it.
Went to the hotel for eng v lithuania game never stayed in a so called hotel like this in my life it was a disgrace filthy stained curtains and smelt like it never had a window open for yrs .DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Stayed here for 2 nights and with my partner, we booked cos it was cheap and naturally did not expect much due to the bad reviews but I must say the stay was not bad at all, rooms were clean enough and staff were pleasant. I would stay here again as it's cheap and it does the job.
As soon as I walked through the door my heart sank. There were two chairs in the lobby which were in need of repair so not very inviting. I was shown to room 4 .There were no controls for the television and when I asked for one ,three were tried, none of which worked. I was informed that the manager would be told about the problem but nothing happened. The basin in the shower room was cracked and the window was open and could not be closed as there was no handle on the window. The shower overflowed and flooded the shower room floor. I stayed two nights only because it was convenient for my visit to the area . The room had obviously not been properly cleaned after my first night as the mug I used was still dirty and the tea/coffee had not been replaced . The breakfast was basic but well cooked and the waitress in the dining room was pleasant. The Wi Fi was very intermitant
Booked in advance, fortunately on arrival there was no record of the booking. Thank the Lord, it is a complete tip, I would of driven back home , or slept in the car rather than spend any time in this dump!!
We went to see the American Football and arrived to find that even though my friend had checked on the Wednesday before we arrived that the booking was OK, they were closing for some alterations after our first night. We managed to arrange to move about 75 yards to another hotel and it was like moving to a parallel universe. I will be appraising this hotel on a different occasion but believe me we will not be staying in this establishment again. PS We had been going here for 3 years!!
Absolutely disgusting, room number 4.... Wouldn't let a rat stay in here. Can't rate any lower!!!!! The 2 single beds for my 2 boys are unstable, marks on the sheets. Fag burns on the window ceal. The landing is unsafe. The price for ONE NIGHT £89. What a joke. NO WAY are me & my 2 boys eating breakfast here!!!!! STAY AWAY
Had booked 3 nights at this dump but left after 1 night. It smelled so musty and of stale nicotine, even though it was a no smoking room there was evidence of previous smokers. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked when turning over. The main problem was just how dirty it is, I didn't have the included breakfast because of the doubts about the hygiene of the staff and kitchen. The ceiling tiles in both the bedroom and bathroom were badly stained and the side of the wardrobe was filthy as was the bathroom, obviously the mop in the bathroom didn't do corners nor did the cleaners know about bleach to keep the toilet pan clean.
If hell was a hotel/ War zone. Being a contractor myself I have stayed in a few hotels over the years and this one has got to be the worst by a long mile. We read the reviews prior to checking in and we thought there's no way it can be that bad. As soon as we stepped into the dirty reception area with the suspended ceiling holding up by a thread we knew we was in for a treat. Walking through the corridor to our room there was mould and damp all over the walls. It smelt like a wet dog that hadn't been washed for months. On the landing there was floor boards up which he had covered with spare bits of wood and what looked like a old door Mat. Cables were hanging from ceiling. Now to the room. We had been booked into a family room because there was 3 of us. There was no hot water to have a shower. The Windows were falling apart and held together with pieces of wood. The wall paper had looked like it had been put on by my nan. The floors were filthy. We all slept fully clothed and on top of the quilt cover and had hardly any sleep if any. I really don't know how this hotel is still open and how the HSE hasn't shut it down.
