My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with you. From booking our room to final check out after our stay, we were extremely impressed with the level of service. Fortune’s Return room was clean and well-appointed with everything we needed. So many amenities to enjoy like the chocolate in the room, fresh baked goods in the kitchen, common spaces, complimentary beverages, robes...each little touch made the stay that much better. Breakfast was outstanding and we loved being able to visit with the animals out in the barn. Only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the mattress. Overall, we had a really pleasant time and will definitely be back in the future when our travels take us near Hershey!
This B&B is a few miles from Hershey attractions. It is the perfect getaway....if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful, welcoming retreat, this is it. As we walked in through the front doors, we were welcomed by the innkeeper with a great big smile. She gave us a thorough tour of the house, pointing out where to get snacks that are available all day, coffee, tea, bottled water, wine both red and white, where the common living areas are and the dining room. She then showed us to our room and spent time showing us how everything in the room operates including the shower. She made it clear to us that we can call her anytime for whatever we might need. We were given the Sea Gift room, which has a quilt on the wall, an antique rocking chair, a fireplace, painted tree that continues into a corner of the ceiling, and well appointed paintings of bluebirds throughout the room. There was a personalized welcome card with the weather forecast for the next couples of days, etc. The place was immaculate, no dust anywhere, not even on the floral arrangements. The dining room had a fire going which was perfect for a cloudy morning. We first had parfaits, then cranberry muffins came, and we were given a few choices of waffles which came shaped in hearts with a couple slices of bacon. We were set for the day! There were antique furniture, dishes, intricate quilts in this lovely home. We also made sure we did not miss going to the barn to visit with the alpacas, miniature ponies and horses. It was the perfect place to unwind from the daily stresses of life even for only one night. The owner, Carolyn, even met us briefly when we first arrived. We will surely visit again maybe for a few days?
We were with a group of 4 couples who stayed overnight. The property was beautiful - inside and out. The rooms were very clean, lovingly decorated with antiques and quilts, and the beds were super comfortable. There were snacks and beverages and lots of comfortable common spaces to gather and visit. There was such attention to detail - it seemed like every need was anticipated and planned for. Breakfast was very good and very substantial. But the best part was how Frank and Carolyn, and their assistant, Karen, made us feel so very comfortable and at home. We have stayed at a lot of B&B's - this was special.
The Inn at Westywynd Farm is comfortable, clean, and charming. The rooms are clean and have most anything you need when you are away. Breakfast is good and is provided at a time of your choosing between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. The owners and staff and kind and accommodating. They want you to feel at home and enjoy your time there. There are several living rooms to sit and relax, seating next to the outdoor pond, and large porches to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The Inn is close the Hershey, PA with many restaurants, shops, and entertainment, but out among the fields of South Central Pennsylvania. You are welcome to stroll the property and visit the horses in the barn. It is a quiet and relaxing B&B.
This was our fourth time visiting and it was excellent as usual. Frank, Carolyn and the entire staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and relaxed. Breakfast is always good and there are always treats no matter when you feel the urge to partake.
Westwynd Farm is an adorable B&B next to a horse farm. So, if you like horses, you will be be happy here. It's located on a small curvy road between I-81 and downtown chocoland Hershey. So it's the perfect place to come to rest from all the chocolate madness. This is a place to come and relax. The view from the front steps is great, and the deck in the back looked gorgeous as well, despite is being too cold for us to experience it. The place was larger than expected, but the many living rooms make it feel very spacious. Our room 'Roman Canon' was spacious, had a fireplace and a jacuzzi, a cozy classic decor and of course chocolate. Three small points for improvement. 1: Don't forget to open the flue when lighting the fireplace at 7h05am in the morning setting off all the fire alarms in the building. 2: The breakfast was just scrambled eggs and sausage. Fine, but a little underwhelming for the ambiance. 3: While the online communication was wonderful, I do not like being harassed afterwards for reviews. As a matter in principle, I complain about it in the review I was gonna write anyway.
My wife and I stayed at the Inn for our 5 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t be happier with the stay. The Inn keepers Frank and Carolyn were very accommodating and such a pleasure to be around. The staff was also very friendly, and the inn was so very well kept and clean. We stayed in the Trapper room and have to stay it was the quietest and most comfortable room we have ever stayed in. The room was well kept and very clean, we really enjoyed the how comfortable the bed was and the gas fire place in the room. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and Chef Dan was very personable, his baked goods and treat were amazing. We will definitely be staying thee again, hopefully in the spring to see the farm in full bloom.
Carolyn and Frank has such a beautiful home that sits on their farm. We found out about this In from their former innkeeper Aurilia, she praised this place and the owners. Boy was she right, Carolyn and Frank are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The food was phenomenal and so was the hospitality. If you take a moment to chat with Frank you can learn so much history of the place and fun facts! We stayed in the Killarney room which is on the second floor. Such a beautiful room and relaxing. We cannot wait for our next visit! Carolyn and Frank- God bless you and your home!!
We stayed in the Kilarney room which we loved. It had 3 windows in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. We had views of the horse paddocks out in front of the property, and the water garden outside of the bathroom. Our room was on the end, closest to the front entrance. It also had a nice gas fireplace. And some very nice added equestrian touches in the room and bathroom. The Inn is beautiful and the owners are very welcoming and nice, as were all of the workers. The dining area is beautiful with amazing views of the property and home cooked breakfasts were outstanding. Also, there were fresh baked goods put out every day that you could help yourself to. There is a refrigerator downstairs in another sitting area where you can store anything you may need to store and there is beer and wine you can help yourself too. We loved the animals on property. The horses were a highlight of our trip. We even met the barn manager while visiting the horses, and she was so nice, we talked for a long time actually. We ate at the Mill Restaurant which was very good. Everything is made fresh there and it shows. We also had dinner at Alfred's Victorian House and it was also very good. Our waiter was great. The atmosphere of this old "haunted" victorian house was perfect. We went to a brewery and a couple of wineries. Our favorite winery was the Grandview. Very beautiful and the wines were outstanding. Another thing we did was the carraige ride through the battlefields which was nice. Although we wanted to horse back ride, but everywhere was all booked up so I suggest booking before you go if that is something you are interested in. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Inn and would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Frank, Carolyn, and Aurilia.
To stay here is truly a wonderful experience. The whole staff and owners are such truly sweet people that cant do enough for you. They have thought of everything from sweet treats all day long to free Wi Fi and a fridge stocked with free wine and drinks. Plus another fridge just for guests to store there leftovers in. We stayed in the Landar room and we never heard a sound from anyone else. The grounds are well kept . If your looking to unwind and relax this is the place for you, Close to Hershey but far enough from all the craziness of the city. It is back off a long road so you need to pay attention to the directions. I sprained my ankle a few days before we went and they even supplied ice for me to ice it. Very thoughful innkeepers. This is more a adults only place to stay. Breakfast is homemade everyday and tastes it. If your around Hershey and looking for heaven you found it here. This is a special place. Thecips
